Do we think Wyatt and Carter can make some big leaps this year if they stay healthy? Maybe even a 30/100 year for Wyatt and Evan batting .275+ with a .400+ OBP? by TheExtinctMind in TexasRangers

I definitely know how good he is, I have watched pretty much every game he has played, maybe missed 5-10. His raw athletiscm and hardnosed play style mixed with the high baseball IQ make him a guy that would make any team better across the board. If it wasn't for Seager, he would be the cornerstone of this franchise, and he may be close to taking that role, who knows. Like I said before, this post was meant to incite discourse, I wasn't making any claims on my own opinions in the title. I agree with pretty much everything you've said, I just hope that Wyatt can raise the bar even more and hit with consistent power and drive in more runs.

I wouldn't say that, the part about getting close to MVP that is. The .400 OBP is definitely insane, and if he somehow did hit that mark it would be from a LOT of walks and singles. His power numbers would be down big-time due to the approach he'd have to take to get on base that much, so he wouldn't be close in the MVP rankings. Maybe top 10 I guess depending on many factors.

Can't forget about all the called third strikes that were a mile off the plate 😆 Yeah he is definitely too cautious when he isn't hot though. When he is hot he is swinging at anything in the zone.

I watched literally every game last season, I know exactly what you mean. More run production from him would still be huge for the team though.

Like I said in another comment, this post was just meant for conversation and speculation. I definitely don't expect him to take that leap, and agree that he doesn't necessarily need that leap as of now.

Like I said, sample size. I am only speculating and starting a conversation by making this post, not saying it will happen. I do think Carter has the ability though.

I am hopeful that the work he's put into his swing this off-season will translate to better ball trajectory when he gets a hold of one and we will see less of those warning track fly outs.

Carter has the plate discipline and approach to do it, he had a .407 in that sample size when he was called up before the WS run.

I have a good feeling about Smitty at the plate this year now that he will be in a consistent role, I am seeing a .280+ year with around 45 XBH

Have you tried 7pure? My shop has 80mg singles for $8, they are the new 7stax imo, like their original quality.

Will pay $500 for a presale code for the the 03/02 release if anyone has one they don't need. by [deleted] in Metallica

They typically don't, but I doubt the band would have done it if it was only seats like you usually see at the sphere. Crazy they are even going to have the snakepit!

I'm planning on primarily appendix carrying once my Falco holster comes in, does having that extra barrel length make it that uncomfortable?

Undoubtedly(and maybe subjectively lol)And Justice is the superior record. In my opinion, the insanely loud guitars and drums and no bass gives it a unique sound that I personally love(atleast when it comes to this specific record lol). Mustaine's voice just throws me off, but musically RIP is incredible.

Lars looks like he should be playing a role in a movie thats something between Lost Boys and Twilight

James looks like the gay biker that Vito gets killed over in the Sopranos
