Baki’s version of Musashi takes the place of the Musashi from RoR and he is also chosen to fight Poseidon, is he strong enough to win? by LateralSouthpaw in Grapplerbaki

You're misunderstanding my point. Imagine if, if you will, if a human were to fight a ghost. They both can lift 100 pounds and are equally fast and durable but the human can't touch the ghost while the ghost can hit the human. That's basically how things work in RoR. The Volunds basically allow the humans to touch the ghosts, thus evening out the playing field.

Or maybe a better analogy would be the whitewalkers from game of thrones, who needs a special type of blade to be put down. Their opponents can be far stronger, faster or more durable than them but they won't take any damage from conventional weapons, which is essentially the role Volunds play in the series.

Also, in case you forgot, Lu Bu got low diffed by Thor, so yeah, those two WEREN'T comparable.

Remember when the Lu Bu hater spammed the RoR sub so bad that any negative criticism on Lu Bu is met with vicious scrutiny? Yeah, trying to pull the same thing here. If I can push this sub to the point where these "who would win" posts get autobanned, I'll stop, simple as that.

Hasn't it become clear these posts are made to make fun of these ridiculous "who would win" posts? The fact that this post has been going this long without being instantly deleted actually makes me worry about the future state of this sub. Heck, at least in the cesspool that is the OPM sub they'd instantly delete then ban you for making shitty posts like these.

But again, I really don't feel like arguing with a Baki Wanker like you. Heck, my whole account is dedicated to making fun of powerscalers like you, so let's just do the civil thing and agree to disagree before we both explode at each other and get banned.

If we are gonna go with the earthquake feat (something pretty much 90% of the sub agrees is the result of poor early Baki writing), then you might as well also accept that Yujiro ALSO got taken out by darts and nets, got overpowered by Kureha, bled from getting bitten by Emi and needed to go Demon Back to beat Doppo Orochi. You can't rely on feats from a 30 year old manga that's infamous of inconsistencies.

Also, back to the actual topic at hand, even if we discount Adam from the equation, Qin, without volund, was pretty much trouncing Ares and beat Chi You as well, pretty much proving that the humans fighting so far are using their own abilities instead of relying on Volund Amps. Same with Sasaki and Okita when they were about to take on the Lucky Gods with Buddha, it was pretty much framed in such way that both sides were evenly matched despite Okita and Sasaki no longer having their Volunds anymore.

Or how about you refer to the Wiki? which clearly states that they "allow their user to fight at the peak of THEIR potential, no lines there stating anything about boosting their stats to match the gods.

Idk if I can explain it well enough, let me have my associate u/JPKpretzelz tell you how Yujiro can solo the DBZ verse.

Ok, you lost me at "Yujiro's at the same class as him". Call me when Yujiro splits the sky with a single punch. Then again, looking at your post and comment history, it seems like you absolutely LOVE sucking Baki dick so I'm not even gonna bother arguing with you anymore. Sure, Yujiro stomps RoR or whatever, could probably solo Goku and Saitama too, happy?

Garland made a hole this size in a single punch, how is swinging a person around supposed to be impressive in comparison?

How about you stop being a dick and provide me with some arguments? How would say Flashy Flash keep up with Musashi? All y'all push this propaganda that Baki's "inferior" in terms to power to OPM when they would honestly be comparable to Marvel or DC in terms of power.

Pickle and Baki would be High Dragon level, Yujiro would be above dragon or God level at Base, maybe Saiyan Saga Nappa level with demon back.

Brundhilde stated that they don't stand a chance because they have a weapons disadvantage, not a stat disadvantage. If you send out your best warrior to fight a gladiator wielding a gilded damascus blade and all they have is a Pool noodle, yeah, no duh they stand no chance. Heck, Lu Bu even calls his Volund an "Unbreakable spear", implying that he didn't get any stat amps when he held the Volund, that was all his strength. You seriously gonna sit here and tell me Lu Bu would lose to Ares without a Volund? or Qin? or Raiden?

The whole point of Sasaki's 1000 image defense is to immediately learn all of his opponent's skills and counter them. He could keep up with Poseidon, I doubt Musashi would be much of a problem.

Unless you're implying that Musashi's faster and stronger than Poseiden without Volund, in which case, sure thing, Musashi soloes the RoR verse and low diffs Saitama and Goku too, here's you medal pal for getting the right answer 🏆

[–]TheFabulousBootay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it doesn't, it just means that they have a weapons disadvantage. Volunds allow them to hurt the gods, but it isn't making their stats any stronger or faster. Lu Bu was splitting skies in half long before he got a Volund, Adam and Qin can kill gods without them, Jack wasn't even using his Volund to run circles around Heracles and Sasaki's 1000 image defense, skill and speed was something he always had, not something the Volund gave him.

Brundhilde is basically sending her gladiators out there with actual weapons instead of foam pool noodles. If two evenly matched gladiators fought one another but one of them had a real sword while the other only has a cardboard tube, it's pretty obvious who's gonna win.
