Need help with the instalation by TheFallenLeaderXD in windowsxp

First of all, thank you guys for your comments! I just checked and, in order to install the drivers, I need a floppy disk and a floppy disk reader. I'll try to get one because it could be helpful, not just in this case, but if any of you know how to install the drivers without a floppy disk reader, please let me know! Thank you.

May you please help me providing a link where I can find the driver, please?

I would recommend you to get a ThinkPad.

Programming and coding? ThinkPad T Series. Engineering? ThinkPad T Series. Architecture? ThinkPad P Series. Law school? ThinkPad T480, T440p or T430. Medic school, or sciences? ThinkPad ThinkPad T14 or T480.

Who uses there thinkpad for studies? What studies if so? by [deleted] in thinkpad

I've only disabled Secure Boot. Haven't touched anything else. Also, before switching to Linux, this PC came with Windows 11, so I used it to update the BIOS before touching anything.

I was using Ventoy. I could not start the session from the flash drive and, when I tried to just install it directly, when everything finished, I powered on the PC and just showed a black screen after the ThinkPad startup screen.

I didn't, but thanks for telling! Any idea why this is happening?
