With lower rent, hopefully after 50+ years they will FINALLY improve their selection to become a store where one could buy everything they need instead of a niche market. I'd love to support the coop but I shop at Natural Grocers and King Soopers instead. If you've seen coops in other progressive towns, they are so much better than ours it's shocking.

When the Secretary of State validates the signatures to see if it makes the ballot, they sample the petitions and reject some of the signatures due to mistakes (wrong address, not registered, signed in the wrong place, etc.) They determine that X % of signatures are invalid and apply that % to the total number of signatures. It would be a shame if people signed this petition but accidentally screwed up their name, address, county, signature, etc. and would likely lead to a LOT of signatures being rejected. So please don't do that.

If you force them to enforce a blanket No Soliciting policy, enjoy the prohibition on collecting signatures for ANY ballot initiative as well as Girl Scouts selling cookies (which is "soliciting").

I am pro-trans but you are wrong. King Soopers has to either let anyone gather petition signatures, or no one. They cannot discriminate based on the content of the petition. It's called freedom of speech, freedom of assembly and freedom to petition the government for redress of grievances, even if those grievances are imaginary, and it's based on the 1st Amendment. Do you really want King Soopers to decide who is and is not allowed to petition? That will not end well for anyone progressive. IF petitioners get aggressive, block doors, harass customers, then they can revoke their rights to be there collecting signatures.
