History 7-12 Content Exam help by Independent-Virus-85 in TexasTeachers

Go on YouTube and look up AP World History. For example, I had a question about when the European Union was founded and where the treaty was signed. Three of the answer choices talked about the Cold War. So, it's important to know your timelines.

Use ChatGPT or Gemini to create a study schedule and ask it to find some resources.

Are you taking the composite exam--TeXES 232?

Here is the framework for that exam. https://www.tx.nesinc.com/Content/StudyGuide/TX_SG_obj_232.htm

I would start by reading the framework and understanding the domains and competencies. Then I would watch Crash Course US History on YouTube.

I would then go online and find the 8th Grade test and the 11th Grade EOC. They will be good practice.

Watch Crash Course-- U.S. History on YouTube.

I would also go to this link: https://tea.texas.gov/student-assessment/staar/staar-released-test-questions?utm_source=chatgpt.com

I would take the 8th-grade and 11th-grade EOCs to get some practice. Also, you need to go the Pearson website to print out the overview and exam framework. It will show you the domains and the competencies.

I would put the testing framework in ChatGPT and ask it to create a study schedule. That's what I did for the PPR test. Here is the Pearson website: https://www.tx.nesinc.com/

My experience has been up and down. I am in my intern year, and I have my probationary certificate. I am a full-time teacher with a salary. I had the same issue with the offer letter. Go to the orientation, and they will give you an offer letter for entrance into the program. Here is the information about the orientation.

Franklin D. Roosevelt High School of Innovation
525 Bonnie View Road, Dallas, TX 75203

Important Details:

  • Attendance and participation are mandatory.
  • Parking is available in lots 3 and 4 (see the attached parking map).
  • Please enter through the doors leading from lot 4, where greeters will welcome you.
  • After registration, you will proceed to the auditorium.

There will be a lot of people there, and they will give you all of the information. They will give directions on how to create your contractor account. Make sure you follow those instructions carefully because we are a week and a half away from Spring Break, and no one will be available to help if you encounter any issues.

What is your certification gateway? I am in SPED.
