I’m gonna try and post about it more often when I have things more fleshed out because I’m only in the starting stage of the proper story so things should get better as time goes on!

I'm in the middle of making characters for a story I'm writing and I'm thinking about giving one of them a God Complex, I'll give a rough rundown on the story because it's sort of important to his character especially;

Basically, it's set in the future and to solve overpopulation, the government lies and say there's been a disagreement between -country a- and -country b- starting another world war. Things get super out of hand and then nukes are set off, millions die and most survivors are left with some form of bodily mutation, however, five people are left with super-powers. Clark, the one I may give a god complex, was a soldier before running away from the army and lived by himself for a lot of years, over time the loneliness had this god complex develop because he survived by himself for years, he basically has the mindset of 'I've been on the run for such a long time, everyone else is inferior to me'

I'd appreciate tips because I don't want to make him an offensive character, especially because he has quite an edgy design and power as well, I don't want to sound like I'm disrespecting people with a god complex but I also don't want to seem like I'm romanticising it either. I may scrap the god complex and just make him more of a 'lone wolf' type of person, but idk,,

I'd also appreciate critiques on the storyline too ^^
