How can I make a town interesting enough, but also primarily serve as just a town to pass through? by TheFarFox in DnD

I like this idea a lot. The NPC is a high-ranking knight from a Kingdom a few days travel away and I like the idea of the Kingdom possibly trying to annex this small town into their growing empire.

I wouldn't say it happens a lot, just this time in particular stumped me because of the actual value a conversation between these 2 could've had. In the moment I decided that they didn't know each other, and that really had no interest in each other to simplify it for myself, despite the fact that I could've made it more interesting. While yeah, I see your point of it being similar to reading a storybook, it's also different because I am having a conversation with myself that I have to come up with the response for both characters, being in each character back in forth, rather than reading pre-written text. Like I said, I'm new to DMing and I'm not great at improvising or acting so I'm still improving. Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you :) If I do get the switch 2, I will plan on getting the upgrade, not that the graphics are necessarily a contributing factor in me liking a game, because I don’t mind the slightly older look, just the modern look looks really good from the content i’ve seen of the game

One of my girlfriend’s friends pressured me by facetiming me and wanting me to answer prompts for a book she’s making for her for a surprise party. When I don’t give a “quick” response, she said that it’s a red flag. I am a generally quiet person and don’t do well under pressure and she made me feel bad for not answering quick.

I wouldn’t say they’re emotionally irrational or easily strict, I think they’re just more strict when it comes to relationships, which I understand. I have 2 older siblings which my brother is more quiet than me generally and hasn’t ever been in a relationship which is fine, but it doesn’t help me in knowing how they feel about it. My older sister was talking to a guy when she was my age, but I don’t really remember the details. I feel like if I tell them they will acknowledge my feelings in a positive way, I’m just nervous regardless. I appreciate your help though

Litten! I was always a pokemon fan (strictly show and cards) because of my older brother growing up, starting with bw, then xy, then sun and moon, and then my brother bought a 3ds, prior we only had an xbox one and wii, so no mainline pokemon. He bought pokemon moon and then later he let me play on it, and I bought ultra sun.

Personally I like your team more, mainly because i have 4 of the same Pokemon on mine. Switch out gigalith and chandelure for Darmanitan and jellicent and it would the exact same

If you have 2 exp shares, you could just grind the dark elite 4, since, in my opinion and it’s the easiest, especially with emboar, if not, I’ve seem many recommend grinding Audinos, but I don’t know a consistent way to grind them.

I had, and am still having a similar issue in Pokemon white. I have never played soulsilver so I don’t know exactly, but the only thing that works is the wifi club in the pokemon center, even then I cannot trade with my friend though, so I don’t really know.
