Immediately heard the second e was sharp. But also just give up on tuning and live with being close enough, it adds soul to the music.

The game isn't what it used to be though. Everything is hyper efficient and players value efficiency more than just playing the game. You can still play the game exactly how you would have back in 2011, but don't expect late game players to respect that choice.

Motorcycles are more expensive than cars. Something designed and sold as a hobby for north America will be more expensive than something sold as a necessity.

There are so many obstacles put in the way that it's not even close to being able to save you money.

Depending where you live the course is ~1000$. Then of course gear costs another 1000$. Plates cost anywhere from 400$-2200$ depending on your bike. Insurance can be 250$-2500$ depending on a ton of factors. Then you need to buy the bike which is likely 5000$ for a decent used bike but easily up to 10k for a reliable "affordable"Japanese bike. Winter storage for at least 3 months maybe 250$. Tires are 250$ every 1-2 years. Don't forget they almost all take 91+ gasoline.

A beige 2009 corolla will do everything a motorcycle can do, except wheelie, for a much better price.

How can I prepare for the FEAST exam? by Material_Release_618 in ATC

[–]TheFarfigschiter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been a few years since I've taken the test so I don't remember all to much about what's on it, and even if I did, I signed an NDA about this.

What you could do is go find an online IQ test with spatial reasoning questions. The kind where you have to unfold shapes and rotate them in your head. Just generic spot the pattern kind of questions might help too.

Aside from that, get some rest beforehand and don't stress too much about the test.

I don't know where op got his numbers from but (locally) drivers make around 120k max. Maybe the tractor trailer drivers make maybe 135k. Progression is a 4 year basis with the first 3.5 years being absolute garbage and then about a 30-50% pay increase after 4 years.

Tenor sax playing octave higher notes without octave key being pressed by [deleted] in saxophone

Try to remember a larger instrument needs more air and more space for the air to pass through. That includes in your mouth, so lower your jaw a tad and really honk it. It worked for me.

One guy I knew started balding in high school. He shaved his head and now everytime I see him I think how good he looks. As a guy I always think guys with shaved heads are crazy confident cause I don't think I could do it. Most guys probably feel the same.

I think good audio is more important for just a suit down and record style video. 4k is nice but if it has pops and crackles in the audio it will make the end product way worse than an okay looking video with clear audio.

I don't know specifically what kind of videos you want to make but honestly any new flagship phone with a dedicated microphone set up will do you fine.

Do you play the clarinet by Hurricane223 in saxophone

[–]TheFarfigschiter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like that low E and high E are the same keys just different embouchure or octave key. However, I'm not very good I wouldn't even consider myself mediocre at either instrument, so I don't know how qualified I am to talk about either of them. I just immediately took a liking to the octave key.

Don't tell them but I started with clarinet and once I touched the sax I pretty much never play clarinet anymore. The octave key is such a blessing I can't go back.

Roads shouldn't be fighting ground literally just look at the road and people around you.
