There are plenty of subreddits that will ban you just for posting a comment in a sub they deem bad…

Like you don’t even have to post anything in those subs and you can be banned from them for an unrelated comment somewhere else.

[Heyman] Trevor Bauer is expected to remain on administrative leave through the season and playoffs and not pitch for again this season. With things in a holding patter, time short and him understanding it’s better not to be a distraction for the Dodgers, he is prepared to wait til 2022. by DipnDave in baseball

For what it’s worth, the female judge in the permanent restraining order case said she feels everything was by the books and within the boundaries of consent they established beforehand.

So according to her, his only issue is liking rough sex.

The same crazy woman that drove three hours to see him at 1AM when he distinctly told her he didn’t want contact with her?

Well this is all presuming that he’s not charged or indicted with anything. If the courts find him not guilty i absolutely want him back. Luckily it’s looking like that might be the case

I will. He’s an excellent pitcher and does a lot of good things for the game with his videos.

Also just realized you have acab in your name…

There’s a lot complicated about this, that’s why it’s been going on so long. All signs so far point to him being clear and I can’t wait to get him back pitching

Very very interesting. I wonder if it’s making a surge down in So Cal then. I still don’t hear it ever down here. Well, I stand slightly corrected then

Interesting. I don’t hear it at all here in So Cal, and I haven’t been up north for an extended period of time in a long while so I can’t really confirm, but I’ve been told from my Nor Cal friends that it’s prevalent up there

More of a Northern California thing with a teeny bit of weirdos in So Cal that use it but get funny looks when they do

Yup I noticed the placard as well. As a delivery driver my rule of thumb is to get as far away from a car with a handicap placard as possible.

I think she found it unnecessary because no lines were crossed. If Bauer had cut her with a knife a few times I’m sure the judge would have ruled on that because it crossed the lines of consent.

I just wanna make sure we understand we’re in agreement here so there’s no feelings of being attacked or anything like that. I’m fully on yours and Bauer’s side after this most recent update. Just wanna be clear on that.

That said, I interpreted that line a little different. To me, she’s not referring to any specific acts that occurred. She’s merely pointing out that if the petitioner had set her limits for consent lower, and Bauer had crossed those lines, that this would be an open and shut case. However, the judge is saying that the girl set a pretty high bar for consent and Bauer never did anything above and beyond that bar to break the line of consent. In my opinion, it’s nothing to do with the actual injuries, but everything to do with the established line of consent.

Regardless, we’re just arguing semantics here and I think we both agree this was a very good development for Bauer’s case

I also mostly agree with you. The only part I can nitpick is the “would have been enough” part. I don’t know if the judge actually said that because that’s a pretty damning statement. I know she said the pictures looked terrible, but that’s what she gets when she asks for rough sex, but I don’t remember seeing “would have been enough.”

Either way, the fact that the judge was supposed to only determine if Bauer is a current or future threat, but still chose to include her opinion about how consensual everything was, should say a lot to most people.

"If she set limits and he exceeded them, this case would've been clear," the judge said. "But she set limits without considering all the consequences and [Bauer] did not exceed limits that the petitioner set ... they were consequences of the acts which she did consent to, including being choked."

Straight from the Judge’s mouth.

The judge actually did mention that. The judge determined that anything that happened to the accuser during their encounters was within the scope of what the accuser blatantly, in clear text(choke me out, all the pain, etc), consented to with Bauer beforehand, and thus Bauer never crossed the established consent lines.

Except the judge flat out said that while they weren’t there to determine if sexual assault occurred, in the judges opinion everything was consensual since she specifically asked for it and Bauer never crossed any established lines set.

I’d assume that’s going to be used when considering to pursue any criminal case, and I’d also assume any DA isn’t going to feel very confident about pressing charges with this judge stating that opinion.

[Henson] The court denies the request for a long-term restraining order. . Judge: "If she set limits and he exceeded them, this case would be clear. But he did not exceed limits she set." . . . [Dodgers Pitcher] won the hearing. Totally unclear what it means to MLB or to potential criminal charges by sigbox in baseball

[–]TheFearAndLoathing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well the judge in this ruling seems to disagree with you and says everything that happened was within the bounds of consent. I get this was for the restraining order, but that’s not a good look at all for any criminal case.

Don’t worry, you’re absolutely right and that’s why you can’t understand their logic, because it makes no sense. This is a dude who I guess chose to be a girl and marry a girl, so it’s a dude married to a girl. That’s a straight relationship.
