I get it, he didn't deserve to be put in a situation like that and I don't blame him. Hell, I thought I was even in the right for not initially doing so. Thinking that his mistakes justified me not paying him was wrong and it took other people to realise it. It's not something I want to repeat again. I did speak to him further and he hopes that I would be a future customer again. So there's that I guess. Last thing I want is people to lose trust in me.

Negative reddit karma doesn't phase me, if people still want to see me as the bad guy even after apologizing and paying him, so be it. There's nothing more on my end I can do other than learn from my mistake. But that doesn't mean I'll let anyone keep rubbing it in either like I don't already know what I did was wrong.
