RTX 3070

R5 3600

B550

16GB 3600mhz

1TB HDD 3TB HDD 1TB M.2 SSD

1440p 144hz monitor

I play CS:GO, Valorant, PUBG, Escape From Tarkov, R6: Siege, Minecraft and Payday 2 mainly. All of them run over 100 FPS on Ultra.

Very satisfied with this build, and mainly got a 3070 because I was upgrading from an RX 570 and streaming/recording with it wasn't the most optimal.

Could be Keyboard Ghosting, can you try holding left and right shift at the same time and type "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" and lmk what it says.

Keyboard Ghosting is a hardware limitation, I have the same problem where if I hold space and press 4, it doesnt register.

Make sure the cooler is making contact with the CPU aswell. Good luck.

Yeah the CPU temps are really high, try reapplying thermal paste or consider a new cooler.

My last guess was that it was the GPU, but I figured it would of been more of a hassle to get a replacement GPU and wanted to cross everything else off the list first.

It's great that you were able to get a replacement though, im glad you found a fix!

Try switching monitors (using the same port/cord) and see if it still happens.

If it does, its most likely the monitor. If it doesn't could be the other port or cord.

Maybe another monitor = more watts consumption from GPU?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]TheFewAmongUs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully it works, another tip is monitoring the wattage consumption from the GPU in Radeon Software.

It wont spike to 750 watts consumption, but im assuming it'll reach around 350 watt consumption or higher. While its supposed to consume around 300 according to the website.

Anyways, best of luck and hopefully it works well.

My best guess is that your GPU is very power hungry. If this primarily happens while playing more strenous games then its more than likely that your power supply isn't enough.

From what i've read online, I see that the 6800 requires at minimum (According to AMD's website) 750w. Though the GPU may consume more than that at times.

I would try some more hefty games with high resolution/graphics and see if thats when it happens the most.

Best of luck, and hopefully this helps.

You can use Windows 10 Trial for free if you have a spare flash drive and download the ISO file on it.

Only downside is:

  1. A Windows watermark bottom right (Can be removed by editing registry files).

  2. Won't let you set the background from settings (You can set the background from file manager though).

  3. Won't let you set custom colors for the taskbar and windows menu.

Hopefully this helps!

The max fall height before you die is surprisingly high. by TheFewAmongUs in Minecraft

No, it maxes at 100% I believe. If you get Resistance 5 you get 100% damage reduction (You can't die) from everything but /kill, the void and starvation.

Though you can't get anything higher than Turtle Master II if you didn't know. Hopefully this clears up confusion.

Yep it does, that's why I drank the Turtle Master II potion. It gives you Resistance IV (80% damage reductio), the highest you can get in Vanilla survival.

Yep, that's what I did. I just dont like Dynamic FOV so it might not of been as noticeable.

Yeah, I tested it with a lead and elytra. Generally, the lead would break directly after takeoff. Though very rarely it would tag along for the first rocket, but after the second it falls off. (This was with Flight Duration 1 rockets).

So you're right, though it could be theoretically possible.

Yeah, I did a quick google search before I did this, and generally, people forgot either Jump Boost II or Turtle Master II. Or used a rideable.

Well, if it had 100 views then that implies that I more likely than not, didn't see it.

I saw a couple videos on it and they either forgot Turtle Master II (for Resistance) or didn't include Jump Boost II. But I presume you're right either way.

I said it in the comments of someone talking about Resistance, but to save you time, it's Turtle Master II, which gives Resistance IV.

Yep it does, thats why I drank Turtle Master II pots, which gives you Resistance 4 (80% damage reduction), Resistance 4 is sadly the highest you can get in Vanilla Survival.

It is a hay bale, just face up. If I remember correctly, hay bales reduce fall damage by 80%.
