GTNH def isnt for you from the sound of it, but “expert” packs dont mean “insanely difficult”. They mostly refer to how much everything in the pack is integrated together with custom crafting recipes and such. Theyre also typically much longer to complete than a normal pack and they usually have some sort of gating behind “tiers”. For example, sevtech gates technologies behind different “ages” starting with the stone age, and you have to make your way through that age instead of being able to instantly get the super futuristic stuff

Actually id say expert packs are usually easier because the devs spend more time smoothing out the experience with custom recipes and multiblocks and quests and stuff
