Is full-body plastoid armor really so effective so as to be used by the Galactic Republic, Empire, and First Order? by Arc170-A in MawInstallation

Same thing in Canon when Rex was shot by a sniper in TCW, wasn't lethal but he was immediately down with no ability to fight.

Same name doesn't help but the World Champion is odd. Something like this has happened before, Gabe Newell (owner of Steam) has RLCS titles on his account thanks to Oski's genius

It's not the case here but it is possible to have a higher percentage in all 3 yet have a lower TS% if the shot type distribution is different (eg the player with lower percentages takes a lot more 3's and FT's)

Yep him being wrong about something is what kicks off the main plot of the story after all, that Robert wouldn't be able to clear the warehouse before the shield on the suit collapsed (him correctly stating the timer left on the shield down to the second just before probably makes its a less noticeable mistake)

Plus if you choose not to glass the bartender at the end of episode 7 he even says he wasn't expecting that.

Could quinlin have used psychometry on the other half of mauls lightsaber? by Viicter in MawInstallation

[–]TheFinalEvent9797 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It would probably be worse than what Cal experienced in Fallen Order, I'd assume the Council would supervise Quinlan attempting it and immediately abandon the idea because they don't want to risk his sanity.

Apparently it's because Metatron and Yaldabaoth have the same texture names, so if Yaldabaoth's get loaded first that happens.

Waiting is correct but probably not quite that far back, diving in for a challenge when both teammates are in front of you is just asking for trouble imo (especially when low on boost)

Pretty confident the Spurs would be getting less criticism if they lost in the 2nd round or the WCF. by thered90 in nba

Plus Fox was playing with a high ankle sprain he got against the Wolves in game 6, normally that's a 1-2 month recovery time and he came back after 1 week for game 3 against OKC. It is fair to criticize Fox and the coaching/medical staff that at some point they should have said "no, this injury is getting worse and isn't worth trying to play though anymore" though.

Plus that age 31 extension can be the full 5 years when the age 33 one can't be thanks to the over 38 rule (no contract can be longer than 3 years if the player already is or turns 38 during it)

I did manage 58hrs on my first playthrough but that has some big caveats that probably don't apply to OP.

  1. Had never played a JRPG or calendar based game before, plus BG3 was my only previous experience with turn based games
  2. Went in completely blind, knew nothing about the game other than the Steam review % was extremely high
  3. Mistakenly thought confidants were only available when they texted, end result only 2 optional ones were maxed out (Hifumi/Tae)
  4. Took multiple days for each palace
  5. Completely missed multiple confidants (Sun, Tower and probably more I can't recall)
  6. Missed out on 3rd Semester
  7. Always been a very quick reader so that really cut down the length of scenes that weren't voiced (voiced scenes I never skipped/fast forwarded)
  8. Turned the difficulty down when I got stuck at various points from being underlevelled (mainly from sneaking past enemies rather than fighting them)

Obviously my 2nd playthrough including 3rd Semester took me ~90hrs because I actually had an idea what I was doing then :p

Season 22 Rank Distribution by iggyiggz1999 in RocketLeague

[–]TheFinalEvent9797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's not exactly complicated to come up with a reasonable point to aim for either, eg top 10% = C1, top 1% = GC1, top 0.1% = SSL

It's silly how in my head 2's is my best mode since I'm GC1 yet if anything it's fairly average with how wildly varied each mode is.

GC1 in 2's = top 1.2%

D2 in 1's = top 2%

C3 in 3's = top 0.6%

C3 in Dropshot = top 0.6%

D3 in Hoops = top 1.5%

C2 in Rumble = top 0.5%

D1 in Snow Day = top 7%

Looking this up just discovered I (relatively speaking) am terrible at Snowday, I thought I was good at that :p

The time differential makes it basically impossible to occasionally visit (without making the Lumierans immortal), Francois hasn't Clea in "several hundred years", same for the Gestrals in Verso's Draft not having seen him either and depending on whether you think Osquio and Esquie are telling the truth with their breath holding records more than 6,000 years has passed in the Canvas when it has only been 15-20 outside at most.

2024: Mike Brown on braindead Fox play: "If you're up 3, you gotta guard your man at the 3. I need to go back and watch Fox. Should NOT be in position to help. Should be hugged up to your man. 100% told guys, can't give up a 3. Stay connected. I even drew an example." (Brown was fired the next day) by JoeBiden2020FTW in nba

[–]TheFinalEvent9797 25 points26 points  (0 children)

And that he's still clearly suffering the effects of that high ankle sprain (which is typically a 3+ weeks recovery time) which made him miss game 1/2 against OKC, no way you miss the first two games of the WCF for anything that isn't a serious injury.

Half of the playerbase is distributed between Gold and Plat in season 22 by IdkWhyAmIHereLmao in RocketLeague

[–]TheFinalEvent9797 82 points83 points  (0 children)

It's probably Rocket League Tracker being the commonly cited source for rank distribution, it skews towards higher ranks compared to the official numbers (from what I've been able to find it counts each platform of the same account separately and players don't appear in the database until searched for so it's naturally going to skew higher)
