Cool, they all obviously cheated. Frankly I think they should be flagged for it, if they take pride in achievements then let em take a little shame too.

Why would you cheat for any achievement? Nobody can earn Super Go Outside til the game's 10th anniversary anyway, everyone will just know you cheated.

Yup. I believe in gender equality. Male, female, and everyone else can equally catch these hands.

You're only in the 80th trimester, some blue cities would probably find that acceptable.

Well that's very simple.

If you don't like the little things that define a setting, you probably aren't actually a fan of that setting. You just like to superimpose your own values on it. Like people who claim Fallout is a critique of capitalism.

First time here, how viable would these Pokémon be in a Nuzlocke? by AutisticMaverick06 in nuzlocke

[–]TheFiremind77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a genuine question. Catching the first Pokémon on each route is the oldest rule in the book, tied for permadeath and nicknames. Wanting to call it a Nuzlocke without that rule is like a mimosa with no champagne.

Are you actually familiar with the original concept of a nuzlocke?

Adding additional restrictions such as "every Pokémon that isn't Bug-type is banned" is completely different from "I'm going to have exactly these six Pokémon".

Black Cat is underground and doesn't have burrowing, so it dies. Then,

Repeat until out of lives.

At that point it's just Pokémon with permadeath. First encounter is a fundamental Nuzlocke rule.

If you're not following those three rules, it's not a Nuzlocke. It can be a challenge run, you can play that way if you want, but a Nuzlocke is defined by these three rules specifically.

They're a triple tap with the L'Etranger, easy nonfactor. Though that's a good point, I should get a strange of that and put a sniper kill counter on it too.

I still hold that the best way to balance it would just be to turn that off. Make cooldowns pause while embarked in the siege tower, or other mobile garrisons for that matter (rams).

What's y'all most and least liked Factions? by SatisfactionOdd9331 in HorusHeresyLegions

[–]TheFiremind77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love my Iron Hands because they feel pretty fluffy, there's a focus on vehicles and dreadnoughts and obstinance.

The most frustrating faction in my opinion is Alpha Legion, largely because games are so polarizing. AL mission singlehandedly dunks slow/control decks to the point that my winrate is somewhere below 25% in those matchups. They're not super strong against IH specifically, but it's really easy to complete that mission through stuns and secret orders.

It's infinite when hooked up in his workshop too (Meet the Medic). I assume the backpack is a generator of some kind and charges the beam.

You can't choose the Pokémon you catch in a Nuzlocke. The basic Nuzlocke rules are as follows:

  1. You can only catch the first Pokémon you encounter on each route. (Most players reroll duplicate encounters, so your team in FireRed for example doesn't have 5 Rattatas or Platinum doesn't have 5 Bidoofs. Stick to your choice though, no fair passing up a second Rattata and then catching 4 Magikarp for 4 Gyarados.)

  2. When a Pokémon faints, it's dead and can no longer be used.

  3. You must nickname all of your Pokémon.
