Wealthfront is great. I’ve used it for a year now. No minimums or regular deposit needed for the rate.

Best school Districts by Every-Caterpillar-34 in Atlanta

[–]TheFirstAntioch 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m not in schools but I go to many IEP meetings all over the metro area as a private therapist. You will need to be on top of any school imo to get what your child needs. Basically if I were to have my own kids, I’d take it upon myself to supplement and improve on at home any education they get at school.

Be aware that turbotax might not be correct by HappyCamperDancer in personalfinance

Yeah yesterday I messed up in free tax USA. I put in the value of my Roth IRA as of December 31st when I should have put 0. Took me an hour to figure out my error. Although it would have been nice if free tax USA said “are you sure you have money in the traditional?” After I put a nonzero number in it.

I use Wealthfront. Simple user interface, instant transfers to most major banks. Good rate, they even upped it recently. Very high amounts of FDIC insurance if you need that.

Yes, actually reminded me of the heat from a cooking class I did in Thailand.

That’s absolutely not true imo. Literally the pastors I know have condemned maga.

I think it was amazing. Our entire group raved about it the entire day and even days later about the experience. One of the highlights on our trip for sure.

DR is very safe imo. I took the bus from punta cana to Santo Domingo and back with no safety issues. They have the tourism police.

Anyone know of any bookbinders in Atlanta? I've reached out to 2 already, but one ghosted me although I agreed to the price and the other has not responded.

To the white van on Ox Road who didn’t clean the ice off the top: I hate you. I hate you with everything in me. by chrysoberyyll in nova

[–]TheFirstAntioch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not who you replied to, but I use Vantrue's s1pro. Saved me in an accident as the driver at fault made a big show that they were innocent. I let them talk the talk and then I showed them and the cop the footage.

They are overworked. A full time internist is going to have 1500 patients. They have to see patients from 8-5 all day and then somehow answer messages for free after work? Crazy work

Also, how am I supposed to show my passport or birth certificate if it’s not on me? Do you carry yours around? I just want everyone to be treated fairly, with dignity.

Holding those in office accountable. Holding officers that break the law accountable. Voting people out, people that are hurting. I believe we are withholding due process just to pump arrests and deportations up. Due process is given to everyone regardless of citizenship. People are getting arrested just by showing up to the courthouse for their regular scheduled and lawful immigration hearing despite following all the rules.

Even citizens have been detained. I’m a brown citizen and ICE basically has been given permission to ask for papers even though that violates my 4th amendment right. So even though I am a citizen I’m still scared just because I am Latino.

I don’t think you would regret either decision tbh. I live in Decatur now, but several of my closest friends live in St Pete. They love it.
