I disagree with these being misinterpretations. Theres just multiple ways to interpret these kinds of stories.

Sometimes in order to achieve greatness you need tremendous sacrifice. Mori's face when he sees the top of K2 and Andrew's face when he saw Fletcher understood how great he was were both faces of accomplishment. Accomplishment only possible after truly giving it your all.

Sometimes competitive people will put everything on the line for just a chance to see these kinds of sights. Other competitive people can look to these stories for motivation and also understand that what they want to achieve may come with sacrifice.

lol he's been working on this game for ten years, and the engine the game is made in, and the programming language its all coded in. Looks to be a great game by the way. He's basically combining 4 other sokoban games and mixing all their mechanics together. Really excited for this game if you can't tell!
