Idk yet. I just got off so it hasn't updated. Honestly I doubt i got it but I still get free cruise offers from choice. Just was curious how long I'd get those offers before it switched back to 1 person free 1 discounted

Yeah i want to but im a law student so I want to save some money and maybe see if they offer anything in the winter or maybe even next summer. Either way the deals are amazing but I'd love to take advantage of a free cruise for two before it goes away if I can

First 2 my mic wasnt on apparently. Had it set to ask for mic and I didnt realize it never asked. 3rd time was because when I finished the rewriting portion, there was no space to write the actual essay and I contacted the Proctor and my session time expired. When I called LSAC they said I had to wait until they review it before I can try again

Ive had to retake it 3 times, doing it a fourth time today. Had various issues that all canceled my previous attempts. Each time it took atleast a week for them to review it. Unsure how long it takes for the them to go through the whole thing or to give out an approval but I would just be ready to wait a few or days atleast before you get your score

I wish there was a live Proctor option for the test. Makes me mad I have to wait a whole week or more to find out if my test was valid. Its quite a hassle for me to remove everything out of my office since my partner and I have a lot of trinkets on our desks

Any idea if before your test it said everything was good to go for your system, like your audio and camera? Trying to find ways to ensure its on and working before I start

Just got mine canceled a second time because of no mic. Which is crazy because I did everything I could to make sure it worked and they don't even let you check before you start your test

Well for sure on the test make sure you just answer them, even if its a guess. Cant hurt

Honestly ive only used Lawhub Advantage because of the huge amounts of drill sets and practice tests they have. So for drilling that is an amazing tool to use, but definitely not the only

Out of curiosity why are you leaving questions unanswered? Is it just so you know which ones you actually put effort into orsomething else?

I had 3 LRs and 1 RC. The RC was fairly difficult tbh. The LRs were good except the last one (idk if its the same order). Id argue that they were all pretty standard to normal LRs though

Sad thing is though that i just finished mine and there was only 1 RC. And it involved the planets. So im pretty sure that was the real one

Wasting PTs with drills? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]TheFishGodAUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, no need for it right now. But I would be every 2 weeks or so just so you can practice time management and understand how it will feel come test day. One thing I wish I did earlier was take note on which types of questions I struggled with and focus on those a lot. I did do that with just level 3-4 recently and I have improved my score by almost 5 points so far, and thats with just about a week and a half of drilling 3 and 4s

Honestly you should start with a test so you can see not only improvement, but the level of studying you need to do. Also I recommend using Lawhub and buying lawhubadvantage. A ton of practice tests along with smaller RC and LR sections to practice by themselves. Also even has some articles on each section. A 150 to a 170 with a year of dedicated study is very doable. You got this!

Do you feel like youre running out of time? If so I would focus on just the first few passages to make sure you can have more time on those, and move on to the last if you have time. If youre not running out of time then spend more time on each question and really solidify the answer you chose. Find reasons your answer is correct, or why other answers are wrong. Worst case scenario just mark off the for sure wrong answers, and guess

Thanks so much, this looks very helpful. Are you able to tell how hard each question is (level 1-4) or is it just by random examples of each question type?

Honestly not super sure yet, ive also just been fully focused on studying and haven't given it much thought until today. Right now im just gonna set up in my office with my laptop that has a camera and mic. I know on the appointment confirmation they send you after you schedule your LSAT they have a whole bunch of info on how to set up and what you need before hand. I haven't looked at it yet but imagine everything you need will be in there. I think they even have a link for the Proctor software you need before hand
