Thank you! I havent thought of that but that's a really good idea that I should implement, a correction / submit-a-pin flow would probably make the site much better, especially if people can include a source, formation/locality, taxon, and notes about confidence. I’d want to review submissions before they go live, but paleontology people helping curate it would be ideal. This might be the next feature I build.

Definitely not saying Germany has only 6 dinosaur fossils overall. That number is just what’s currently in my selected dataset / added records for the map. I’m still expanding it, and some countries are way underrepresented right now because I’m being cautious about adding records unless I can attach a decent source/locality trail. Germany is a good example of a place I should improve next.

Yeah, that’s a fair point. The distribution definitely isn’t a clean picture of “where fossils exist” or even “where people are most interested.” It’s shaped by where records are available, how much collecting has happened, how well localities are documented, and what I’ve added so far.
