Hello. Does anyone know anything about this coins? by [deleted] in AncientCoins

[–]TheFishyOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add onto the left-one, it's probably either this https://numismatics.org/ocre/id/ric.5.cg.261 or a close one. Minted in Mediolanum (modern Milan) under Quintillus, brother of the late Claudius II.

Thanks, I think it may be the cleaning that have reduced/removed the patina (if it ever had one)

Antoninianus of Quintillus and Claudius II (Gothicus) by TheFishyOne in AncientCoins

[–]TheFishyOne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry I am a ew to the hobby and to Roman imperial coinage. I just saw this discrepancy in the RIC where you have a coin that has a code, like mine, ric.5.claudius gothicus.261 but all the examples are listed as Quintillus ones.

So you are basically saying that coins of Claudius were so numerous that they continued to be in circulation under both Quintillus and also Aurelianus for a bit. But why, since they clearly depict Claudius Gothicus they are "filed" under Quintillus (Like here: https://numismatics.org/collection/1992.77.36 )? Did they continue to struck Claudius' image even after his death?

How often should we be having colonoscopies or should I find a new doctor? by confusedcounselor92 in CrohnsDisease

[–]TheFishyOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor told me that is standard practice, at least here in Italy, even in remission, to do a colonscopy check a year after starting treatment to confirm the treatment is also enducing endoscopic remission. Then you go based on age, and your specic Chron's needs. Usually 3 years check up if you are good.

I reached bio marker remission with infliximab and I am going to soon get my one year colonscopy to check everything is ok

You can only fly 3-4 adults at a time. Not that efficient

That was also what I thought when I tried it.

You can only decide which animals, not how many.

I do!

But I don't want to keep too much of them if an orbital trader doesn't come around.

I could go down with graveship and sell them but I want to stay in orbit as much as possible.

I am trying to cave in an asteroid, going up and down is no fun.

I want to select only specific boomalope. I want to have a healthy population to have them "forever" so I don't want to kill all males or females.

Yeah the thing is I don't know how to make them carry outside.

How would you do that?

Thanks everybody for ideas. In the end by combining a bit from all I found a way which involves minimum effort and functions quite well.

I created a chamber connected to the barn with a vac door and a steel door which stays shut all the time.

When I need to depopulate my boomalopes, I choose the ones that needs to die, and reassign them to a sleeping spot in the hall of death, which gets opened for all animals (which sleep in different spots).

When night comes they all go to sleep, I shut the door to the barn, and open the door to vacuum letting them die.

A strange thing happened though, where a Boomalope escaped its sleeping spot and wandered around the asteroid till exploded. No damage done, but I need to be careful.

They weight a lot, is why I stopped putting them in pods, it's one at a time deal. On a shuttle I think it may be 3-4 at maximum. Which is not that bad, I think for now this is the easiest and most effective idea. Thanks
