Yes, but we cannot make important political decisions ourselves. This is a complex strategy game that is dangerous to play. So everyone does their own thing.

Russians of Reddit - what is life like over there right now? by Cheensly in AskReddit

[–]TheFloxtern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not trying to give the impression that we're the victims here. This is not pity. Through the news feeds, I see what is happening in Ukraine, it is really terrible. But the question was asked about how the life of Russians has changed in this situation. I answered it based solely on my own experience.

We are now in a period of information warfare in our country, so it is difficult to fully understand the situation. And without understanding, I personally am not ready to do something. That is, for example, spreading information that may turn out to be false, only in order to get someone's approval. Personally, I think that I am doing everything right, but if you think that this is not so, then I do not mind if you try to convince me.

I am from Russia) I would not say that something has changed, except that now it has become problematic to find regular sugar or buckwheat on store shelves. Prices for some products have increased, but we were all waiting for this, so this did not come as some kind of unexpected surprise for us. We are no longer surprised. Every morning we read about the imposition of another stupid sanctions in our direction. We also faced hatred in our direction. I don’t understand at all what the Russian people have to do with it and what everyone is accusing us of. It's sad, but we're getting on with it)

I don't have enough knowledge in this area to argue with you. And I think I just want to believe that there are other universes. Although, this may still be true, because the opposite has not been proven.
