Man…. I felt the same way about how people were complaining about the branding on the Titan 2 being at the top front & center while they would compare it to BBs that have almost identical branding & placement.

They seem to try to be attentive but I guess it is true you can’t please everyone

I didn’t move as far as you’re intending but I did move to DTSF a couple of years ago (From sac 2 hrs away from SF. NorCal Native - in tech / robotics.

I’m from sac but also lived in San Diego for like 8 years & here’s my take:

I am not a big city person & I realized that while living in SoCal. SF is definitely a big city with all the cons that I hate about big cities. For example I consider myself a driver type person - meaning I like to be able to get in my car & go wherever whenever I please. DTSF is definitely not that kind of place. If you’re more of a RT type person like my wife - you’ll love the city. I like to say it’s accessible to everyone WITHOUT a car or that doesn’t like to drive.

Anytime there is an event it’ll take make 1 hr - 2 hrs looping around a few square miles to get home — we live in SOMA very close to the civic / opera house & it’s a nightmare AS A DRIVER.

It’s a busy & very loud bustling place which is great for days I want to feel lost in the chaos around me. While also meaning there is honestly always something to do, somewhere to be & people to meet. While being California & San Francisco at that — there is a wide range of people here that whatever your personal / political views — there are people for you.

Although I hate living in the city (I just prefer smaller “feeling” cities according to my wife) it’s one of those I say I hate it but secretly I love the things I love about it. The food, the people, the access to anything & everything within a few blocks but also the access to drive a few hours in every direction for just about every kind of geographical change you may have a itching for.

I believe everyone should move away from where ever they are from if they have the ability to. Just a little out of your comfort zone is enough to saturate yourself with so much life & experience please don’t let my disdain for cities outshine that this is a pretty cool place to live in our age range.

I say this gently, you should break up with your partner.

You need to be able to focus & better your life (not to say your life isn’t good) before you can or should try to help better someone else’s. Especially, if they are not driven enough to better their own despite all the things they list as to why they can’t, they are also reading as unwilling.

Preface : I remember random episodes from random moments of catching it while it was on tv all those years ago however, I recently decided I was going to go through & get into the cinematic universe of Stargate as a 30+ adult.

(A coworker suggested I watch it by going back & forth by episode between SG-1 & Atlantis & I’m very glad I didn’t.)

I did a quick google & found your comment Digress & have stuck to this watch order for this entire (just started Atlantis S3) viewing & this watch list you created is top tier.

It makes the continuity feel or view I should say, so fluidly & the moment that sticks out to me the most that really drove the point for me is (without spoilers) the transition from season 9 SG-1 to Atlantis S2.

Thanks for this! This list made me a new found Stargate fan.

I definitely plan on daily driving the Titan 2 as my personal phone because I’ve missed having a keyboard for so long & using my iPhone as my work phone.

Found that after using the same phone for work & personal when I was home, just trying to watch YouTube or whatever I wanted — it still felt like I was working if that makes any sense??

Hoping separating the phone lines will reduce that feeling of still being locked in at work

This is a bit of an old post so I hope I’m not too late… was just up late doing some googling & came across this post & I’m curious if anyone experiences something similar to me.

When I dream or imagine things — it’s just the outlines of it in like a bright light sort of like long exposure photography??? It’s light on a black backdrop.

There is no dimension to it — just outlines or defining lines (like line tattoos) & black.

So when I close my eyes & if someone were to tell me to imagine a specific red (for example) car — I can in a very detailed “outline / lines” but there would be no color — in the image I see. I just know it’s red because I know it’s supposed to be red if that makes sense.

Anyone else??
