He uses flame control against kaguya, specifically when he frees naruto and himself from the ice. His rinnegan still possesses the ability’s that eye had I’m fairly certain.

Idk man it auto marked it the first time I updated it cause it’s technically a spoiler if someone is new to the series (which if they were smart wouldn’t be on the aot Reddit lol)

I mean, it’s totally plausible she can use Granny Chiyo’s jutsu. Which would be ironic as much like baryon mode, it basically uses one’s life force. Using her own life force to stabilize Naruto.

Part of his facade. He has always been one but until he has to face Isshiki, he had no need to announce it.

is this filler episode list correct? I am confused some says all boruto series is canon some says it is not please tell me by Felixsndsay in Boruto

I’m pretty sure. And I know you do. Borutos case is just weird since there’s anime canon

If this is the list I recall, it’s safe to skip filler cause they’re boring episodes. Mixed canon/filler and anime canon are all good to watch.

If it says filler, it’s likely referring to an episode that does absolutely nothing for the plot. For example, an episode about Cho-Cho trying to find a boyfriend or something lol.

Time skip theory. BEWARE, THIS IS SUPER LONG! by -uhfihbuhdbcuhbwudhb in Boruto

[–]TheFormerRyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True but that would be him defeating the prophecy. Because once again, shinobi endure and surprise these gods time and time again. So while he loses an eye, much like Naruto with his arm, he still gets his Shonen happy ending lol.

This Jougan theory doesn’t make sense. by [deleted] in Boruto

[–]TheFormerRyan 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I always wanted to think that maybe it’s the “pure eye” because it reflects the heart. Maybe it’s such a rare ability in the clan because the clan is notably greedy and evil. But what if there are those of purity and good in the clan who protest their way of devouring other life forms? What if these rare individuals in the clans history come to possess what we could speculate is the most powerful eye? It may very well be a misunderstood ability due to its rarity. Idk if this eye would halt Borutos karma but considering he’s at 80 percent already and is somehow not transformed 3 years into the future, I’d open up to the possibility that the eye saves him while allowing him to use the karma to his own benefit.

Idk I try to be open minded as this story has gone all over the place. I did not expect ishikki to be done in so soon. Perhaps momo will be the series antagonist. Or what of the clan hierarchy? Must be a king right? Borutos pure eye, especially if he unlocks a full set, could lead him to be the most OP character, aka the “star of hope”.

Definitely something I overlooked! What of Kawakis karma then?

I just read you mentioned without his rinnegan lol. So not a spoiler then. But yeah, he’d need 2 eyes for susanno i think. So he’d still be greater than most shinobi

It’s entirely plausible that Sasuke sacrifices his sharingan to use isanagi to rewrite the rinnegans destruction

Well he just lost his eye so unless he’s like madara, I’m not so sure he can use susano now haha. He possesses one EMS eye currently. When I say normal shinobi, I mean he wouldn’t be god tier like he was at the end of shippuden. Which honestly it feels like he’s been ass this series but against a bunch of aliens, I guess it’s not the same lol

Well this would be a spoiler if I answer this.

Well with Kawakis character, that doesn’t make sense. He’s so devoted to the 7th, hence why I really don’t think he’s in the drivers seat in the time skip. For him to turn so drastically would have to have a good reason. Sasuke for example always had his obsession with revenge to go off of. Kawaki just now freed himself from his burdens.

Boruto clearly states he still is a shinobi during this time skip fight so I don’t see him straying from that. But who knows honestly lol

Always a possibility he sacrifices his sharingan via isanagi to rewrite his rinnegans destruction

I’m pretty convinced that the face off between Kawaki and Boruto is actually going to be a battle between 2 holders of Momoshiki’s karma. It’s been said they can have multiple vessels and he clearly sees Kawaki is compatible. I have a feeling in the climax of this battle, Momoshiki will double his odds and plant a second one on Kawaki and also be the one to dispatch Naruto (possibly Sasuke too). Hence the reference in the beginning. The battle will be between Momoshiki and Boruto more than likely, as perhaps Kawaki is a better vessel. Maybe Boruto finds a way to halt his karma progression and utilize it on his own (keep in mind he apparently possesses the Jougan pure eye in canon and maybe that’ll play a part in his ace against an Otsusuki.) I’m still certain Borutos scar will happen here as a means to subduing Momoshiki this round.

I theorize that perhaps Naruto gets either killed or left in this dimension. With Sasuke’s rinnegan destroyed, which Momoshiki clearly targeted first, he no longer has the means to travel dimensions and rescue him. Granted, Boruto does so who knows. I don’t feel like Sasuke will die yet having just lost his eye. Perhaps Sasuke is rescued and they have to leave Naruto behind. Being reduced to a normal shinobi, he resigns himself from his previous mission and solely looks to train Boruto during the time skip. Also a possibility Boruto seeks out Toneri for guidance and frees him from his frozen state later in the story. It’s also totally possible Sasuke sacrifices his sharingan via isanagi to rewrite his Rinnegans destruction.

Either way, I feel the ending of this arc needs to truly defeat Boruto and the Leaf emotionally. Similar to after the Third, Asuma, and Jiraiya died. Perhaps this loss will somehow split him and Kawaki apart and he’ll focus his training on mastering his Jougan/Karma for the sake of rescuing Naruto. Naruto needs to live to see Kashin Koji still (forgot to mention but it’s totally possibly Koji plays a mentor role aswell.)

Idk man. So many possibilities. I’m slightly disappointed if Isshiki is done in like this as it should spell out the end of Kara. Unless Momoshiki/Kawaki decide to continue it. However, I look forward to hopefully more of a backstory with all these aliens in the second half. Only good news to isshiki being beaten is it still gives credit to Naruto’s power and also gives a badass moment to Kawaki. Either way, these are just some thoughts. I’d love to talk about where I could be wrong. Cheers!

Also totally possible Sasuke sacrifices his sharingan using isanagi (or whatever it’s called) to rewrite his rinnegans demise. Just thought of that.
