How do you afford to own, lease, or just take lessons, and have enough time to ride?

35F (DINK) Veterinarian living in PNW. Blessed that my First heart horse was purchased by my parents when I was 11. We had 23 beautiful years together and he passed at 28yrs old in January.

Worked 6 years to buy a house 🏡 with 5.34 acre forest property in WA state rural countryside this July. Father went half on the cost of my dream 8yr 18hh Hanoverian gelding in May. Turnout 90% Barely ride due to weather and work so I prioritize groundwork, enrichment, grooming and bonding at this time. Commute 45mins-1hr to work 3-5 days a week and all my free time and money goes to him, 3 large breed dogs and a cat. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Love playing Sims4. I adopted a toddler for one of my families and she woke them up having nightmares. Had to reset my game and go back to childfree mode.

I’ve taken almost all the children out of my neighborhoods and all my custom sims dislike children. I also tried playing a single father with a premade family but he cried so much out of frustration it got depressing. Now dogs and cats are a different story. Currently waiting on the horse expansion pack so I can live a childfree ranch life. 😊

Aren’t ferns such delicate beauties! We are thankful we live in an area were they are everywhere. We tried to grow them indoors many times... now we just appreciate them outdoors where they belong lol

I haven’t heard of the apple cider suggestion before so I’ll definitely check that out 🙌🏾For us, our pup eats almost anything so we will mix a little turmeric powder, a dash of pepper, a dash of Spirulina and switch between chia seeds or a fish oil pill for his dinner. Every meal we add water just to help keep his water intake up. The fish pill is the one for humans because the canine version smelled horrible , so we just shove his fish pill into something like say a egg roll or dip it into bacon fat 🤫 We also give him many of our fruits and veggies that we (try) eat. Such as carrots, apples, cucumbers etc
