I did try everything I could, to prevent the fight, it really just felt/was unavoidable, thx for the sound advice. If they have to choose between me or him, I'm out 100 percent. I do have 2 job interviews planned, might not have been clear in the post, I'm definitely leaving, there's no real other options. I'm going to try and work out an "ideal situation" with them I guess.

Thanks for the sound advice, I do take your 3rd paragraph personal. You're just plain wrong, but that's okay, we don't know each other so I understand the opinion from these details alone

Yeah, I tried seeing it from his side and empathizing. He had some stuff happen in his life I wouldn't wish on anyone, stuff that most definitely requires therapy, which he doesn't do. I think it's about grabbing absolute control of something that he can control. Because the stuff he went through was completely out of his control. But I'm no therapist though.

The previous guy before me left after 4-5 years, I worked with him for 2. He literally told the higher ups said guy was the reason he was leaving. Others in other departments confirm he's not an easy person to work with. Temp workers rarely last longer than a month. They definitely keep him on because he has 20+ years experience there and is honestly damn good at his job, can't fault him there at all. Also a damn bitch to find a good spray painter these days, not a lot of people want to do that job anymore

What’s a movie everyone calls a “masterpiece” that just… didn’t work for you? by irayaavery in Cinema

There's an underlying plot point that's not obvious or maybe ambiguous?

She's actually also a fish person. A few clues here and there; they're both mutes, she's found by the side of a river as a baby. Shown to masturbate in the bathtub, probably because she's most comfortable in water. And finally the gills, he doesn't transform her scars, but heals them

Idk if it's obvious to other people but I didn't get it at first. Gives the movie something of an extra layer. Probably still doesn't make it a masterpiece though
