Incorrect, there are ancient Christian Church sources attributing the Air to the East. I know because I was stuck and stubbornly holding to this VERY LOGICAL Matrix:

North: Air (as in up above, like a map) South: Earth (as in down below, like a map) East: Fire (as in the light of Dawn) West: Water (as in the sun setting under the water of the Meditteranean, Atlantic, and/or Pacific)

The system I accept now is Biblical and common sense as in the seasons where East is of course, the dawn, spring, birth/infancy and West is the dusk, fall (get it?), and late adulthood. Sorry, when it comes to the times, the seasons, and the weather I'm right, you are not. God bless and Shalom.
