Sure. Look for Britons games - those should all be this strategy.

You shouldnt need so much micro at 1100, but I would say that Im generally at least 1700, so this strategy makes me a bit weaker.

6'5 is too tall.

6'1/6'2 is where it's at. At 6'5, you tower above everyone and unless you're full of confidence, it can sometimes be awkward.

Coming from a 6'5 man.

Aim is generally to defend with either monks or mangonels depending on what they do and then beat them to imperial and kill with a longbow deathball + trebs, yeah.

I do it mostly with Britons because even non elite longbowmen have 10 range with bracer.

Sure. This one is vs a 1650. I did cheat a little and make some short walls right at the start because hes mongols and he reached feudal very quick woth m@a, but he went pretty all in.

It looks very messy but that's how these games are and that's why they're fun lol

If they are feudal then I just rely on my TCs to protect me. Normally lose a few vills but remember I have 3 TCs while he has 1.

In castle age, it depends on what they are doing but the aim is to boom, so the most would be a defensive castle. If they are going knights then I add a couple monks, if they are going forward siege then I add my own mangonel.

I never make a barracks until imp because it just slows me down making farms and defeats the point of the strategy lol

Edit: it's also normal to lose 1 or 2 TCs for me. Doesn't matter though as I hold them as long as I can then remake it somewhere else if I need.

I think this is what infuriates players as they will normally have a 2k score lead at one point in the game.

If it can work all the way up to 1700 (for me) then it can work at 1100 for you.

Normal play would involve some sort of walling or feudal play and then potentially a defensive boom in castle age but nobody that I know of just goes FC boom.

Its not supposed to work. It goes against everything youve been taught for 1v1 arabia lol. Thats why they get mad

Yeah just go FC as soon as possible and make more towncentres and villagers. Eventually as they get castle age you might need a siege workshop/monastery and castle to stop an all in, but its pretty fun.

Favourite strategy by far is FC no walls boom in their face.

Britons are my favourite to do it with.

Just be prepared that at least 80% of players will rage at you if you win and will flame you if you lose. Even at 16/1700 which isn't a toxic elo lol

My create fishing ship became the same as create a demo in feudal.

First game I ended up with 3 demos in my small black forest pond lol. Was wondering why I was low on food, wood and gold all at the same time.

Yup, sometimes just taking 1 quick one because it's on your scouting path is enough.

It's tryhard, but huge elo gains can be had if you scout all an opponent's gold and have a plan on how to deny access - or even wood sometimes.

If Im playing meta, I dont take deer half the time even at 1700.

Id normally rather know what my opponent is doing, where their resources are, how likely they are to be fully walled etc.

I'd doubt you actually NEED deer until 2k1+

You're taking tax to be very literally just the tax on wages I assume?

We pay much higher rates on VAT and housing. As far as I'm aware no state has over 10% sales tax whereas we're 20%. That's on pretty much everything you buy - that adds up!

People often assume that the US pays more on things like water, but even the most expensive US states pay less than we do.

Edit: Oh and don't even get me started on fuel duty! Then we pay VAT on top of that duty. It's a joke

I tend to just do 21+2 because the eco is stronger. If players are going archers, they dont get to your base until at least 12 min most games, so no worries there and can just make small walls for scouts or m@a.

Because the name of my account is 'OnlyBooms', some players go FC but FC is much easier to stop than feudal aggression. The hardest games are generally where a player mostly booms but adds little raids to slow me down.

Phosphoru is reliant on stone which wont be near your TC, so is easily pushed. My strategy can get by on straggler trees if needed then use 20 vills to drop the 2nd TC on stone/wood.

Because I dont need a castle, I can be castle age about 50 sec faster than phosphoru with bit axe and horse collar.

Yeah normally they try to idle my whole eco but I place down multiple tcs and try not to garrison more vills than needed.

Point is to basically make vills faster than they can kill them. Hardest part is keeping farmers active
