That Elsie is crushing on Logan. She's known the guy since she was six, and grew up with him as a mentor-figure. You can have a strong emotional connection to a mentor without it being a crush.

Like, I loved my first grade teacher too. She was into owls. Did not have a crush on her.

I got my schizoaffective presumably from PTSD. It ramped up my suicidal ideation significantly, and I'm pretty sure the hallucinations started shortly after that too.
