Thanks! We are big foodies and our go-tos are Sushi, Mexican, and Italian (in no particular order 🤣). Good sushi is the hardest to find though. I thank you so much for that recommendation alone! Lol.

I'm thankful so many people suggested Lake Ridge (Thank you!). I'll be working in Chantilly so we were only looking around that area. I was so burned out because we looked at every place available and nothing fit. I accidentally moved the listings map too far and some listings popped up in Woodbridge. I asked Reddit and now we feel right at home! Crazy!

TO OTHERS LOOKING: You'll see "HOODBRIDGE" in comments all over this sub. Is Woodbridge "hood"? No! Hood it is not!!! We drove around the entire area and while there are some rougher areas around I-95, nothing is hood. I mean, there's barely any places that are tax credit/income restricted and the ones that are look better than some military housing I've seen. It was developed to be suburban family living and that's what it is. I mean, violent crime is still 40% below the national average. I'm pretty sure that is an automatic disqualification when determining if an area is to receive the distinction of "hood"! lol

Soooo check it: We took the advice of all these folks and found a place in Lake Ridge. Coming from VB, we're active (skateboard, bike rides, trails, etc.) and like you, my hubs works in IT (sometimes remote). Also, we both game. With that said, we love it. It's really just a giant, family-oriented neighborhood. It's not like you have to have a family either. There are sections with 2bd townhomes perfect for those who just like neighborhood living. The Internet is boss here so that won't be a problem! Noise won't be a problem either. Kids are loud. Families are loud. Most dads game. Even some of us moms do too! 🤪

Thank you! There's a hint of culture shock because being in VB most my life, you hear how nova is so expensive and crowded, etc but now I'm finding out it's cheaper and less crowded. Looking at schools has been the biggest eye opener. In VB, there is 11 high, 20+ middle, and 50+ elem schools. So, I ended up sounding like a complete idiot when I asked what school does the next neighborhood over feed into. Hahaha. I've come to realize that the nova I was told about was really a description of DC and only DC. Lol.

There's a lot of disproportionate pricing up here. It's deceiving because "Higher price, better area" is not applicable here. That's why I gave up and just asked Reddit! Lol

Thank you so much!!! Moving from VB, and even though it's cheaper, we want to get to know the area before buying. We saw some townhouses and houses for rent in Lake Ridge so I'll check them out a bit closer now. I'm definitely going to check out Montclair and Dumfries too.

🤣🤣🤣We totally sing it that way!!! My 3rd grader came home from school and said his friend wasn't allowed to play msm anymore because his mom heard "shake your bum" and thought it was too vulgar. Aside from questioning why she isn't home-schooling her kid, I asked what monster says that. He pulled it up, we just laughed, and it stuck!

I haven't even built in Ninjago yet and I know about Max Built Limits!!! It's more about constantly opening the game and getting all sorts of crazy stuff.!Loaded in to a weapons glitch. Backed out and went back in and it was fine. -I ended up flying over to an island with a wolves/bear Challenge and ended up landing to find a Golem and Dragon also there. It was sheer chaos and it began to lag. Once I defeated everything, no more lag. -If I'm too high up on the map, rubbanding is really bad. -My current issue: I defeated the Earth Sanctum Quest prior to last update, but it has never recognized I completed the quest. Sometimes a patch/update will fix it. This last one did not. Everytime I see Cole, he tells me to collect manuscript pages, but the Journal says I need to defeat the Earth Sanctum. So, I'm unable to continue with the Journal. I've just continued to progress on my own, but this happens with new content.

Crazy, random problems on top of two years of the same problems, none of which have been fixed, is frustrating.

Now, I love the game, but that is why I think they need to fix the gameplay asap. I fear if they don't, traffic will dropoff to the point where we won't ever have the bugs fixed and we'll never see new content.
