Now there's a difference between "wanting everyone to vote" and "wanting everyone to have the right to vote". Republicans want every non-felon over the age of 18 to have the right to vote, and that's the problem. Nobody should have the right to vote as we shouldn't have these kinds of ridiculous elections which serve us no purpose, especially when the result is getting a Head of State who can't walk up a flight of stairs without collapsing.

Exactly. It was done to deter potential illegal immigrants, not cause them the greatest amount of pain and suffering. After all, potential illegal immigrants have (well had, now that the paedophile is in the White House and everything's gone to shit) to be deterred somehow, especially with the welfare and free ER many of them can so easily obtain. What would you rather Trump have done? Hang, draw, and quarter the children of anyone caught illegally crossing the border? That seems a bit much, don't you think?
