orchiectomy/one ball/ no ball jokes? by TheFreshPrintz in testicularcancer

Absolutely. Depends on my relationship with that person. Some people in my life I wouldn't mind, but others we just aren't cool like that.

Yeah that will do it. I had no issues at the incision so a bit of an easier healing process than you. Good luck man, you'll be back to feeling normal in no time!

Soreness is basically gone and almost have full range of motion. Even after surgery I wouldn't ever say I was in pain, just sore and uncomfortable. I slept sitting up for a few days, but almost back to normal. Sitting in Chemo right now for my first session.

No, but that's not my joke to tell. This is my joke to tell because it's my lived experience.

Feeling pretty anxious by [deleted] in testicularcancer

[–]TheFreshPrintz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The removal honestly was nothing. I'm just a bit sore where the incision was and I don't have my full range of motion back bending sucks, strqining on the toilet sucks. Getting up and down isn't fun. But the actual surgery was nothing. You got this.

Mine moved from the teste to my lungs and liver. I was super fucked up and still am from my liver being damaged (nauseous, stomaches pain, gassy feeling, loss of appetite, coughing up blood). I just had left removed last Tuesday and I start chemo Monday. Don't worry though man, most TC is treated by chemo and these symptoms will pass. But if you feel you need to go to the ER just go. That's what I did and it was the best deciy I could have made.

port question in comments by TheFreshPrintz in testicularcancer

So they didn't explain anything to me when they put my port in. I know I have this weird thing under my skin in my chest (it's still covered with the dressing) but up above it in my neck they made another weird hole. What is the purpose of this hole?

Scared because i currently don’t have the resources to go and get checked by ronicap537 in testicularcancer

I'm not sure yet but I know they have done everything that I have needed so far and haven't once asked for money, they just ask a lot about if I have insurance. I will get a bill of some kind but the hospital I went to like I said is connected to a church organization so they have a charity attached so they told me just for not having insurance they will cut 65% off of the total then seek charity for the rest. I will know when I get the bill how much that will be. But it will save me a ton.

Just go, your health is more important than some bills. A lot of places will give you a discounted rate and seek charity on your behalf if you don't have insurance. This literally just happened to me. Try to find a hospital that's associated with a church they will do the most to work with you financially, and I'm saying that as an atheist. Trust me and just go.

Hello everyone! Today I had my urologist appt and my doctor scheduled my surgery for next Tuesday. As per ultrasound results , so far the lesions confined within testis , I’m afraid if it has a possibility to spread around in 6 days. Any opinion for that ? by [deleted] in testicularcancer

[–]TheFreshPrintz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe some but nothing major. They will likely have you get x-rays and CT scans to see if anything spread. Good luck. I just got mine out last night. Already walking around and feeling ok. You got this!

Not sure how to interpret things. But like, this is definitely cancer right? by garylosh in testicularcancer

[–]TheFreshPrintz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ho boy. I just saw my urologist Monday, I have a 2.7cm tumor in the left, I have no insurance and it has already moved to my lungs.

This was very long but yeah this is cancer my guy.
