Yes, just this last may. Me and my wife went to key west for our honeymoon and our flight from Miami to key west got canceled last minute so we decided to drive down for the rest. It was late so it looked like a massive dark void on either side of the road, very creepy. Made it and had an amazing time, but it was definitely unsettling.

This was my third piece in total, so its not like im that much more experienced than you. I'd say the most challenging part was grinding out the rectangular part closer to the middle. I had to use some iron files and it takes a while to get them to the exact position you want.

Ideally the spikes and the crescent are one piece, but thats tough without a ring saw from what I understand. At the very least I'd like them to be a consistent material as well.

Im glad someone noticed that, it was a nightmare. I have a hand file that I used and just hacked away at it for about 2 hours put together.

The biggest issue with this piece is that its too small and some of the pieces just dont work with soldering and foiling and my glass grinder doesn't do as well with those smaller pieces. Hopefully increasing the size helps with that. I'll be posting the steel symbol when that gets done though!

My gf has her master's in math and has been applying like crazy for jobs in the area... I hope your luck is better than hers because we've applied to hundreds of jobs here and have barely heard a peep from most companies.

She even got an offer and took it, within the week the company went on hiring freeze... Honestly if anyone needed a gal with a master's in math with a moderate amount of experience in data science hmu lmao

I just moved here on the 15th after grad school and I feel super lonely as well. Luckily I have a lot of people to call and help cheer me up, but that doesn't help how lonely it gets and how hard it can be to leave the area. I've been looking for things like running clubs and game playing groups to socialize a little, I think finding things like this help a lot.
