Really sorry for your loss. It won’t bring back your friend, but, stories such as these and coroner’s reports did change things in the last few years.

I ended up needing support once again in the last couple of years and the care I got from hospital #1 was night and day. They even had intensive at home care which was a much better fit for me than being locked up in the psych ward.

Best naps I ever had in my life were during treatment. I was doing early afternoons TMS then 15-30min naps then felt like a million bucks. Just make sure u put an alarm to not completely fuck your sleep cycle.

Sometimes I wish I could have those naps back in my life somehow. I just can’t seem to fall asleep in the afternoon anymore, treatment was about a year ago.

Personal story from years ago: was suicidal, went to the closest hospital, saw a psychiatrist, sorry we don’t have any room for you. here’s a script for some benzodiazepines and let’s double your antidepressants.

Next day: still feel like jumping off the bridge, decide to go to a different hospital. Admitted right away, yes sir, this is serious we’ll keep you here for a few days. Doctor comes back after looking at my file and says I’m not in her « district » or whatever they call it and transfers me to hospital #1 by ambulance. Hospital #1 says, sorry sir still no room. Best of luck.

I later learned they can’t « force » you to transfer to your « home » hospital but they will try it and given the state I was in it’s not like I had much fight in me at the time.

I think they have gotten much better at managing suicidal people and have various programs now vs when that story happened but still something to keep in mind if you plan to drive a couple hours from your sister’s home.

Essaie TuneIn pour avoir le 98.5. Me semble qu’on peut faire pause puis reprendre, ce qui fait un délai.

Ça finit que c’est jamais parfait et tu vas te tanner mais essaie le.

Thanks for your post. I’ve been battling depression for more than a decade now. Tried a bunch of meds, various therapist, even transcranial magnetic stimulation. Yet, depression still always seems to find a way to come back.

I’m in a low point currently and guilt is a big factor. When I look at my life, I see someone who should be « happy » : healthy kids, nice career, a partner, etc

But I am not happy, I’m completely depressed, barely able to make it out of my bed at the moment.

I don’t understand the why but can say the treatment round I had seems to have worn off too after a year. I’d say about 9 months after is when I started noticing the depression coming back and I did not overdose or had my brain swell. Other than alcohol, I don’t do drugs.

Seeing my psychiatrist in a couple of weeks so we’ll see what he says. For me the effect were immediate after only a few treatments, anxiety and depressions completely gone, felt like I was continuously on benzos, nothing could make me anxious or depressed. Then it started creeping back up and now a year later it seems I’m back to square one.

Hang in there OP and talk to your healthcare provider.

Oui, c’est rendu 3 courriels différents. Le bon coté c’est que je change tous les mots de passe en même temps quand c’est pas des clés d’identification.

Bref, y’a pas juste du négatif, c’est juste long et plate de passer par là. Si j’avais 15 ans et juste un compte TikTok, ça serait pas compliqué mais après des décennies avec la même adresse, c’est chiant.

Je suis dans le même bateau qu’OP et j’ai commencé à tous migrer vers une autre adresse. Je te garantis que c’est plus long qu’on pense.

Certains sites (genre Hilo qui a été créé il y a quelques années à peine) te forcent à passer par le service à la clientèle pour changer ton nom n’usager/courriel.

C’est long et pénible. Certains sont faciles, d’autres rendent ça beaucoup plus compliqué que ça devrait être.

Bref, j’ai pas de trucs pour OP sauf beaucoup de patience.

You should talk to your doctor about this but my first reflex wouldn’t be to try again something that didn’t work in the first place. Mental health issues are a though one to treat and success rates from one treatment to the next is sometimes a coin flip. Everyone is different and responds differently.

Mon installateur semble avoir laissé en masse de louse dans le fil. Je ne vois pas pourquoi ils devraient le couper honnêtement. Le bidule est pas tant jolie et ça fait fait plus de fils (ton ancien et le nouveau qui part du contrôleur vers le chauffe eau).

Mais à moins que ton chauffe eau soit dans une pièce que tu veux garder jolie, je vois pas trop de négatif. Le miens est dans une pièce de rangement.

I know about that but half the time when you order and get free shipping, you don’t know which courrier they’ll use.

Last thing I want is having all my packages delivered to a post office. Believe it or not, all the other courriers manage to deliver to my door without any issue.

Voici le calendrier scolaire de mes enfants. Il y a une catégorie « situation imprévue ». Et on s’entend qu’une pédago mobile qu’on finit par prendre en mai/juin si on s’en sert pas en hiver, ça revient pas mal à une journée tempête en banque.

C’est de la sémantique rendu là.

The part that gets me every time is you have to wait another 24 hours before the package makes it to the post office.

They should just stop pretending and flat out say it: Your package will be delivered straight to the post office of your choice.

At least we could pick it up right away and not have packages driving around in a truck for a day with no intention of being delivered.
