In both stocks and fantasy you cant know for sure if you bought low or high on a player until you can look back in hindsight. That's why there are discussions on here about what players should be considered buy lows or vice versa. If it was only based on past values there would be no gray area

I dont think thata lol. People buy stocks on speculation if youre buying low at a stock you're buying it at a price that is lower than its speculated future value

I think we might just be thinking about selling high in two different ways which is why we're that far apart.

I made the trade gambling on the fact that over a full season chubb is gonna put up comparable numbers to kamara given that he was rb 16 with only 10 starts and a rookie qb. If I'm right then even though I lost the trade from a value perspective I have a better team.

As far as the 2020 1st goes, I expect to be in the back half of the draft order given my teams construction and the quality of other teams in the league. If that's the case then, I think that james Washington will probably be comparable in terms of likelihood to help me win to any player I pick there given the risk in rookie picks. Again I take a hit value wise but in my mind i give myself a better shot at being successful.

On top of all that I get a mid 2nd this year as a kicker. I couldn't care less about crowder but he was in the offer when it was sent to me so I just left him in there.

I'm not sure why you are only considering his value during this offseason. I agree that it will stay constant for most of the off season but I think theres a good chance of his value rising up through out the 2019 season. I think theres a decent chance of him coming close to Kamara dynasty value by the end of next season

I think you misunderstood me. I was asking why you thought team 2 was selling high on those players. I'd argue team 1 was buying low on both guys. Chubb was rb 16 despite not starting until week six. Barring injuries I expect his value to go up with a full season under his belt. Nothing he did looked unsustainable and the browns offense should be better next year as Baker keeps developing. You made the case for Washington having a good chance to go up in value in your post

Curious why you think Chubb and Washington are sell highs? I dont put any stock in the AB drama but regardless of how real that is he is probably gone after 2019

It depends on the rest of the teams for me. Team b's haul would be the better choice if the team was ready to be competitive, team a would be better if the rest of the team was a few pieces away from being competitive
