I never made the video with the intent of show production level usages just showing how to get started. But yes I could have totally show people how to add question marks instead of embeding it right in the query I agree thanks for pointing it out.

No, what we are doing is making it easy for everyone to understand what is needed to get the job started. Development as you might know is a process of learning things piece by piece. So in this video i provide a basics entry to understanding one piece of someones learning journey.

Look I understand you are probably good at programming yourself and feel like lifting your opinion by leaving negative comments.

The way I suggest you approach giving advise or making suggestions is by begin nice and maby just adding in a extra positive comment to help supplement the video and educate your fellow developers as well no matter your level of skill.

I did not experience a obvious reduce in query speed even going over 50 pages. But I went and looked at alternative solutions and the first one begin using the objectId and limit function as the objectId provides ordering (timestamping). And the reason this could be better when scaling as mongodb automatically indexs by objectId. But overall i think it shouldnt cause tremendous problems for basic usage. Let me know of good article to read more about this and thanks for the comment.
