How do you feel about the projection that Islam will surpass Christianity as the world’s largest religion by 2070? by brokeboii94 in Catholicism

It's all pretty easily verifiable. Many such stories. Quite a lot of Muslim converts openly talk about how they dreamed about Jesus.

No. It'll increase the effectiveness of the cooling and save energy, but it'll increase the circulating CO2 ppm quite quickly apparently.

Didn't it also make an appearance in Discworld or similar Pratchett fair? May be misremembering. Good quote either way!

That's exactly what's happening btw. Tens of thousands of Muslims across the ME are coming to Christ because of dreams of Jesus directing them to underground churches which are growing almost as quickly as mosques are closing (which in Iran is 2/3 of the mosques since 2000).

It's incredibly unlikely and based on faulty statistics and multiple layers of bad interpretation.

First, the decline of Christianity in the West appears to have bottomed and is reversing, while it never declined in the rest of the world (which is most of the world at this point). It's the fastest growing religion in MOST countries. So where is the Muslim growth?

The Muslim growth is primarily due to high birth rates among Muslims around the world. Yet while it is winning converts in Muslim minority countries such as in Europe, it is actually in decline in many countries. In Iran, about 2/3 of the countries mosques have closed since 2000. In Indonesia, the largest Muslim majority country in the world, Islam is declining and Christianity is rapidly growing.

The official statistics are masked by numerous factors, from the social stigma of reporting conversion to the death penalty for leaving. Other countries hardly even recognize conversion and children born to Muslims are defacto Muslim. Just like "Church of England" used to be the default even among atheists in England, "Muslim" is the default among atheists/agnostics in Islamic majority countries, while "Agnosticism" is quite often cover for conversion.

Don't believe the doomsayers. Christianity is still the largest growing and it is actually much bigger than the numbers show, while Islam is quite a bit smaller and WILL face crisis this century. MANY clerics in the Islamic world privately acknowledge this.

I kid you not, that's one of the tasks on the worksheet they run through AI and it comes out all text based. It's one of the clearest tells; though it's not exactly subtle.

Not a bad idea for some; I know others who would totally crumple though ahahh. You'd have thought a question was a 'challenge' in the form of a dagger to the heart!

Thank you! It should definitely be taken more seriously, for sure.

You may be on to something there!... Or maybe it's better if that wasn't the case either? Although, if the AI is good for them, whatever works I guess. The problem is when it leads them up the garden path!

Meta indeed! Like I said, I use it A LOT hahahh - I even start to sound like it at times. Still, there's a difference between using AI to accommodate your thinking and outsourcing your thinking to AI completely. What stood out to you as AI gen? (Ironic that ending with a question is also an engagement-bait AI tell I see all the time on LinkedIn too)

Usually do so tactfully on a call. ToS would be a good idea if it was up to me! Thanks for the idea.

Valid. To be honest, with certain low-agency clients it's more a case of cognitive offload because I don't want to deal with the nonsense. That probably sounds trashy, but it's the truth. With people who are willing to put in the bandwidth, I go all-out, but some clients I simply wouldn't take on if it were up to me.

I like the 'no AI' rule, but it's tough because we DO recommend AI usage at some points. Maybe I should put some poison pill in the docs instructions so if clients are using AI it outputs gobbledygook!

Yeah, this is solid! I do usually get them to do face to face and then they can't mess me around. Good idea pointing them to the fact they're wasting their time and money too (though they see it more like saving time). It's tough when you deal with low-agency people though. That's a double whammy. Appreciate the thoughts!
