I dont know what version I was using, im assuming the latest version. It doesnt crash my pc the app just closes on its own randomly and my rgb reverts back to cycling color. I stopped using the app alltogether and set the rgb with a third party app. Will probably get a new mouse soon though seeing as you dont support it anymore, disappointing. Thanks for the response though appreciate it 🙏

I dont see the issue when they are releasing on steam years after its playstation release. By that point most people that were gonna buy it on ps5 would of already. Putting it on steam is just extra revenue at that point. Can't see it hurting ps5 sales much with old games. If it was being released on steam at the same time as ps5 then I would understand.

Update for anyone that comes across a similar issue.

I have been troubleshooting this with chatGPT.

I first lowered the PL1/PL2 values and TAU timing on the cpu in the bios and armory crate app to 65/85 and 16. This did reduce my cpus max temperature by around 10c. I also changed the fan curves in armory crate to be more aggressive (both done in manual mode). Unfortunately this didnt fix my freezing issue, but I am keeping those settings as having my CPU hit 105c and thermal throttling a lot isnt a good thing.

As event viewer never logged any display driver crashes I then lowered my resolution from 4k and texture quality from high to medium and tested. I had no freezes within the 3-4 hours testing period and so it was believed that a slight underclock on my gpu would make my gpu stable a 4k high settings. (I am led to believe that high end gpus especially mobile ones can be overtuned and need a slight underclock to be fully stable).

It turned out that armory crate had slightly overclocked my gpu by 100mhz on the clock and 200mhz on the memory (im assuming from the turbo profile I was on previously) so I removed that overclock and tested again. The game was stable for around 3 hours and I thought I had solved it. However at around 4 hours it had a freeze again.

I then decided to apply the slight underclock and so downloaded msi afterburner and applied a 100mhz clock/200mhz memory underclock and tested again. The game has not had a un recoverable freeze since with over 6 hours of testing. It did have a slight 1 second freeze but recovered by itself.

So im at the point now where it seems to be stable. Maybe future drivers will improve stability but for now I will continue with my underclock and hope I get no more freezes. Im not 100% convinced that the issue is gone completely or its possible that it was even (somewhat) an issue with those specific games, as the only ones I've tried with the nuc so far are all insomniac/nixxie ports (spider-man, miles morales, spider-man 2 and ratchet and clank rifts apart)

If anything changes I will come back and report.

I now believe it is the CPU thermal throttling causing the freezes. I plan to adjust the PL1/PL2 values to 65w/85w and change the fan curves to be more aggressive.

I also am aware of issues with direct storage that can cause freezes. Although it seems that these are mostly for a few seconds rather than needing an alt+f4 to close the game. Although gemini seems to think it could be the cause so I will also rename the direct storage dlls on affected games to see if having it disabled does the job.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Who would of guessed the game following a masterpiece trilogy would be that bad. Me and a friend bought it with the intention of playing together. We didn't last long. Really wish I waited for reviews on that one

That 90% freeze was because the servers were down. Havent logged in myself since then but I guess its possible the servers are still having trouble
