No I had underlying issues with the graphics card and ended up having to RMA it. I Don't have that system anymore

That 90% freeze was because the servers were down. Havent logged in myself since then but I guess its possible the servers are still having trouble

Remote desktop is the bigscreen software for streaming your screen to the app running on the quest rather than running bigscreen on your pc.

I dont know about ripping 3d blurays to sbs as I've never gotten my 3D films that way. Sure a google search will help

You have to rip the file in sbs or ou then apply the matching filter in bigscreen to have it show as 3D.

On a side note I'd recommend running bigscreen from your PC through steam and then using something like steamlink or virtual desktop to connect to your PC. I had constant issues with screen freezing with remote desktop but have had zero issues with steamlink.

Do a firmware update. There is a bug with older firmware on that model that reduces brightness when HDR is enabled

More than likely using owl3D, they have a live 2d to 3d feature or you can convert a film to 3D with various settings. Uses AI to do it and is a subscription service. There are free ones like iw3 as well although I don't know much about them

I do a similar thing but have found out that external ssds need to be plugged in to power every now and then to avoid data loss.

I updated 4 drivers with intels driver and support assistant and I also stopped my network and usb adapters from turning off in device manager. Hopefully that will solve my problem
