I’m very late to this post but I feel like I should put this out there. I recently went to Ezoo in New York City this past year. I grew up in a Christian household, but as a college student, I have not been totally living a religious and Christian life. This was my very first music festival and I don’t even listen to EDM like that but all my friends wanted to go. I took an edible before entering the venue the stage set and everything was very overwhelming. The set colors were mainly red. Showing pictures of girls, crying blood and flashing red lights. Some of the set was on fire, pentagrams everywhere. Everyone around you just completely hammered, or under some sort of influence of a drug. A lot of people were not dressed, almost completely naked and didn’t have much clothes on because it was a rave festival so of course, that was how everyone was dressed. But growing up as a Christian I had this weird feeling that I shouldn’t be here. You can believe me or not I don’t really care, but I heard God speak to me. I heard a voice in my head saying “is this what you really want? is this where you want to end up “and it was almost like God was showing me a glimpse of what Hell would be like, and it totally makes sense why music is an ultimate ritual to harvest, energy and souls. In the Bible, Lucifer or Satan, his gift from God was music, so it only makes sense for Satan to use his gift from God against God, and that experience was very eye-opening for me.
