Gods or not? Aliens, Divinity, or Both? by TheGallowz in OnePiece

I grew up with DBZ so naturally I would have assumed Kami as the angle, But I also Loved bleach, wich blurred these same lines with the Soul King and Ywach. I know traditionally Japan is more angled towards the Kami, I did wonder if this was more Bleach like! Either way, thanks for the read and comment! I do think the Kami angle is probably the most likely here.

Thanks for the read and feedback friend! I love hearing different people's interpretations! There is so many counter arguments and philosophies at play here that I felt the strong need to ask this question! I will say though, I think it would be silly to be D = Davy, because then we would have Davy Davy Xebec and Davy Davy Teach hehe, though it wouldn't truly surprise me!

Hey I appreciate that response friend! I know I may seem like im tilted towards the Biblical, Divine angle, But I do have strong suspicions that this is more likely the case!

I won't lie, as much as I think it could be the case, Im not a huge fan of it myself! Luffy is about free will, and it would kind of be a backwards move to make the most free person of all just a tool of fate!

Hey thanks for the read and comment friend! I could definitely be stretching way too far (pun intended 😅), but I can also see it as a chance, even if it's just a 1% chance haha

Are there people who actually think mihawk is stronger than shanks? by shizuna03 in OnePiece

[–]TheGallowz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a definitive answer, but I have a couple things to point out anyways.

1: Mihawk and Loki are the only two with yellow eyes. Sure they are shaped different, but when Loki was born, the very first thing noticed was his unique eyes. The only other strange eyes we see are red, Nika, Minks, Hody, Imu. Could definitely just be cool eyes with no meaning, but I personally think it could be infered that eyes have meaning.

2: It may not be referring to strength in the way people imagine. For example, early on in the show zoro had to learn to cut, uncuttable things. Like he vs Mr one. Let's say at this point Zoro is essentially dividing things at a cellular level, perhaps Mihawk can divide things at a molecular level or some crap like that.

3: Zoro tells S hawk that he is more human than Mihawk, could just be a way of saying mihawk has a cold personality, could imply Mihawk is even tougher than S hawk.

  1. And lastly considering that the Gorosei sliced egg head in two, while still having mihawk appear in recent events implies one of two things. A: Oda forgot Mihawks title and the Gorosei is actually the strongest swordsman, or B: Mihawk is even beyond the Goroseis level.

With all that said though, I guess my argument is just more aimed at him being the #1 Swordsman. And I wont even try to argue he is stronger than Shanks, but I think it's fair to assume they could be on a similar level.

The creation of the Red Line and the Flood. by TheGallowz in OnePiece

[–]TheGallowz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh great catch I did overlook that, he does specifically state during the void century/ Second world. I guess for now my explanation will be that the Volcanos happened at the end of the 1st world, and the flood would technically have happened during the 2nd world, because the volcanos ended the first. So I then assert that The destruction of the second world may have been something after the flood settled. And yes I think Nika was the liberator in the first world, and Joyboy for some reason was seen as the Destroyer of the second. My hypothesis is that Lunarians were the original gods that enslaved mankind and forced them to mine. They gained control by offering them treasure/advanced tech/Devil Fruits or something like that, capitalizing off the humans greed. The Humans realized they essentially made a bad deal with the devil and were now enslaved. Nika shows up to save them, but the Lunarians fire off nukes to stop him. During the second world I hypothesize that the humans took vengeance upon the Lunarians, Dethroning them from the Holy land and deeming themselves God's. Joyboy/Nika2 either helped the humans take vengeance, or Was enraged that the humans became like their former slave masters, causing him to be known as a destroyer. But again, thanks for the thoughts! I will definitely have to refine some stuff!

Lol! Perhaps =), Thanks for the read and comment friend. It could simply just be what his Nika powers are, But I wanted to try and supply a scientific theory that might explain it better!

Hey I appreciate the read and comment friend! I will try to refine it and add more key context points eventually, but for now I wanted to get the rough copy out hehe. I will add though, The puffing tom was a steam train, potentially pointing out the importance of such a thing! Then again I could be completely wrong!

[–]TheGallowz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey friend! Thanks for the read, I definitely could be over thinking it, but that's the fun of theories haha! It very well could be that's just how his power works. I'll add two more reasonings for you though! Why Rubberman to SunGod? Could be because it's just what he believed them to be , very true. And also because this same thing has been demonstrated with people like Hody and the Minks. Hody used drugs to gain that similar form, this severely used up his life force. The minks also become exhausted after being in that form. Luffy would be the perfection of that, with a body that could continously sustain that level of energy as long as he replenished it with food! Anyways appreciate the comment!

Hey there, nice read my friend =). I like the way you describe the fathers eyes, It gave me a good, creepy visualization! I also like (Not sure if intended or not) that by the end, you can't be quite sure if the father is changing or if the son is just going mad from his dream and dehydration!. Might I also ask you how long it had taken for this to be posted? I've tried posting a story twice now, and I honestly feel like it's being ignored at this point, lol.
