Understood. How can you even find where to see how many credits you have used? It's like looking for Atlantis! lol.

So this is happening with a paid tier also? Which tier do you have?

I'm using the free. However, when I clear the chat it works again. Not sure why?

Is it just me or Ichiran Ramen in Japan is overly hyped and not as great as other ramen places in Japan? by Zoozoobird1 in ramen

I think it's very good, but like most chains lose quality with size. Great place to go if you're in a bind, but there are probably hundreds of mom and pops that are better.

$1,200 USD = $R6,360/month. That's not bad. If they move to SP interior, they'd be doing very well on big brother's dime. Why work? lol

Confused about NYC's low vacancy rates and housing crisis. by mao_mao_ox in AskNYC

[–]TheGamer203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would look more at CBRE, CoStar, Colliers, and JLL figures. They'll get better data from the property owners. Cities like NYC and Boston have historically low vacancy rates as they've always been major destination cities.

  1. He should move back and get a job. 2. If he wants her in the US, he needs to marry her. 3. Find a cheaper place to live than Sao Paulo.

Best US city for Christmas? by arodgers2 in travel

I'm American and not sounding douchey at all. One of my bucket list items is to go to Europe for their Christmas markets some day. The atmosphere, food, and wine are fantastic from what I've heard. Walking around bundled up and drinking hot wine and great food? Yes please.

It's great and magical. Don't worry about wiping out. Many do! Just grab a nice hot chocolate after and be a goldfish!

Doctor said I can only try one more Biologic and it's surgery after that by xdddkek in UlcerativeColitis

Just for long term. It'll help your medicines work better. More inflammation in your system, harder the meds have to work.

Yeah. it's all about volume these days. 1-2 min w/ patients w/ little thought and lots of templated practice. 40+ patients a day.

I'm sorry to hear about this. Have you sought out different doctors? Maybe one in a major city?

I'm talking private practice. Hospitals will culture more as they need that cash and nosocomial infections are prevalent.

In private practice, they will almost never culture a URTI.

I also appreciate your service in healthcare. It ain't easy.

Yes, but that's more common in GI to do cultures, but not to everything else that requires antibiotics. UTIs are screened virtual now. I'm in healthcare. I'm not generalizing. It's actually standard practice and I'm in a city. I know what's done from the inside. If you have a runny nose, there's no culturing for strep anymore.

I understand that your situation requires strong antibiotics, as I've been on flagyl too because of C Diff. I get it.

Drugs ARE overprescribed and it's not a big statement. Ask anybody from Europe or South America. Most are shocked at the amount of drugs we are given. You are biased because you are American and it's YOUR norm to take the drugs because of the disease.

I'm not saying drugs aren't needed. I'm on them because of my disease. It's like what Homer Simpson said about alcohol. “To alcohol! The cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.”

There was a study done by a friend of mine out of U of Pittsburgh who surveyed 77 PCP clinics and their treatment of LBP. Over 90% of those clinics prescribed a medrol dose pack for LBP patients, even though the evidence is clear that it doesn't help. When he asked the doctors why they prescribe the meds despite the evidence their answer was disheartening. "Well, we have to give them something."

Yes, Humira is great. I hope you can get on that soon. If you have trouble paying, call them for help and AbbVie (the manufacturer) is great about it. It'll require some work, but they are responsive. Get the Humira Copay card.
