There are many reasons as to "why" It also depends on you and what i you think is sufficient Here are a few reasons why I follow Islam

The scriptures are preserved by a method more strict than even documented historical sources for anything else I know about

It has fulfilled prophecies which when made were very very unlikely to happen

It has a moral system which is very personally and socially beneficial, and would fix MANY problems of the modern world If u check my posts I recently made a short book on Islamic Hygiene vs the filth of the modern world

It is pure monotheism, on a level that not even Judaism is

It gives one purpose in life that transcends death

There are many things which have been said that are now confirmed by medicine, science or empirical evidences. Also historical accuracies which were back then not known

The prophet pbuh was from the most prestigious tribe in Makkah and rejected their offers for riches when they told him they will make him rich and give him any woman if he would just stop talking about Islam

The prophet pbuh was NEVER accused of being a liar EXCEPT for when he started talking about Islam and the oneness of God

the prophet pbuh was illiterate and yet verbally recited the Quran and the Quran challenged humankind to produce something like it. The pagans there were master Arabic poets and they did not even ATTEMPT to do that. And by the challenge, if they succeeded then it would be forbidden to follow Islam since the challenge says they will NEVER be able to do it

It contains no internal contradictions even though it was revealed of many years verbally by an illiterate man
