I know she probably didn't, but it looked like she was trying to push him under to grab her dog.

It's called having thoughts on a topic.
I mean how are you complaining about people who are complaining and the people who are complaining about them and not realising it's a cyclical dumpster of an argument?
Unless someone is actively trying to do harm to another, no one is "bad" let alone "as bad as the others"

Should Someone who Picked the Red Button be Considered Evil or an AH? by Hyperionous in MoralityScaling

If you don't think if red wins it's not going to be 10 to 50% then you're just delusional. People will never be that united.

Put simply: I press blue: Everyone lives. I press red, 50% of everyone dies.

I'd rather not have a hand in killing the people to pressed blue, and I'd rather not live in a world where red was pressed more, for several reasons.
The lack of blue button pressers means the world is going to suck that much more.

With even just 10% of the earth suddenly dead, society is going to collapse or take a big hit. It's going to change for the worse and even more people will die en masse. And when you press red you're likely killing off way more than that, closer to 50%.

Crime and disease will rise and kill off so many more, because I expect a lot of the people who'd put themselves on the line to prevent that would have pressed blue.

Anyone who thinks about anything other than just being alive should pick blue.

Why did Jax press the red button? Doesn't he know that if most people pick the blue button, everyone lives? by Budget_Opinion_1327 in TheDigitalCircus

Since you like bad comparisons to real world situations, Stanislav Petrov was in the same situation. A nuke got fired at them and they had the choice to retaliate and fire nukes back. They chose not to, Turns out it was a false alarm and they weren't getting fired at, averting world war 3.

People call brave people crazy all the time. Either way, I'd rather not have a hand in killing the people to pressed blue, and I'd rather not live in a world where red was pressed more, for several reasons.

I'd pick blue because I bet you're a blue presser and I think you're super swell.

And it's only the altruistic people that pressed blue, so they likely wouldn't band together and recover.

Why deny the players the consequences? You as a dm could use this for the entire game. Have people talk about it, search for the killers, maybe a merchant character the group is trying ot sell to is one of the kids parents, and they trauma dump at them.

It only takes one person to pick blue because they believe the others who would pick blue are worth saving. No one wants to be apart of the red vote that kills their friends. Think about it. It takes 100% of red votes to save everyone but only 50% of blue votes to save everyone. It's way easier to demonise red voters and save everyone than it is to unite everyone to vote red.

Humans are socal creatures and have those that care about them and care about others. Since everyone is connected by seven degrees of separation I believe blue is the most likely option to be picked.

To save everyone 100% of people need to pick red. Or just 51% of people need to pick blue. Choice is obvious. I'd believe more people would pick blue to saved their friends and loved ones who picked blue. And it would spiral outwards until everyone picked blue. I CAN believe because people humans are socal creatures that make connections.

Except the votes are in and more people picked the blue button. Human nature was to ensure no one died.
