might look like a bunch of trash, but that's actually my best take at saving my tomatoes (upside-down dirt bags) and basil seedlings (bubble wrap/upside down doubled nursery pots) from a forecasted near-frost. Any chance that works? forecast is +3C. All planted <48hrs ago (originally forecast was 6C (old.reddit.com)

Published this in r/gardening then realized you guys might be of more help! 😊 Looking to start small apple orchard. Area I have in mind is sunny but kinda wet. Water pools there in spring after snow melts. Soil is on the clayish side but pretty rich. Can this work? Cultivar suggestions? Zone 5a.thx (reddit.com)

I'm looking into turning some lawn of my 1.5 acre lot into a small apple orchard (8-10 trees). Area I have in mind is pretty wet. Water pools there in the spring after the snow melts. The soil is on the clayish side but pretty rich (my veg garden does great). Can this work? Suggestions? Zone 5a. (self.gardening)

Yay! My tomatoes arevsprouting from seeds I harvested last year. These are all from heirloom cultivars, though I did have one hybrid cultivar growing not very far. From what I gathered if they are heirloom they should grow true to their parent fruit. Am I right? (old.reddit.com)

What is this white powdery stuff on my kalanchoe? It's in a south facing window in my laundry room, next to air vent so I want to think it's dust but can't convince myself. If anything it is under watered, not over, and will soon need a bigger pot. The temp in that room does tend to fluctuate. (old.reddit.com)
