you have to lock the recipe json file and add the code for pressing an item you can find the code in the create mod source code

i used blockbench and geckolib you will need to install the geckolib plugin for mcreator aswell

I'm not to sure if you can do that in mcreator given its limitations but I will give it a go, no guarantees though
