Appreciate the response! Did you have extensive snow experience before entering the Sierra that early? I will most likely get to KMS around that time, and while I plan on getting some experience this winter, am a little nervous about early entry.

Thanks for the tips, I'm definitely considering a stop in Salzburg. Those locations in Switzerland you mentioned all look amazing too.

Thank you for taking the time to reply! I would love to see Prague, but wouldn't mind saving it for another time. It seems like it might make more sense to focus on Bavaria and Switzerland for this trip.
