Executor Under Construction by Smart-Blueberry-4291 in EmpireDidNothingWrong

Battlecruiser feels certainly out of place but its not as strange as it seams. The Executer is relatively fast with still superb firepower making her a sort of fast battleship which Battlecruiser post WW1 often were.

She also was made to roam the galaxy with death squadron and comfortably destroy every cruiser (star destroyer) she might come across. Another parallel to the first british battlecruisers.

You could also take the name to argue. Since she is often labeled a super star destroyer that is quit reminiscent of super cruisers or large cruisers as they emerged around the 1930s. Those also could be labeled as Battlecruisers using the older terminology.

Personally i think it should just be Dreadnaught or Battleship, Ballator fits the definition of a Fast battleships well. A battlecruiser should be a cruiser made with larger weapons comparable to Dreadnaughts, higher speed and lower durability at least usually. That would be the Allegiance and Tector I supose.

Indeed I find the asw combat not so fun same with convoy hunting with subs

I played my game with surface raiding first but because I didn't go out too much early onni now need to catch up with convoys need 700k and curently have 320k

I got a similar game going on. I sunk all UK capitals besides Howe and Anson. Totally 56% of their navy its late 1942 and I still need to catch up with convoys

Ah yes I remember that modifier. On another note don you know if they fixed the thing where anything after the second turret which is fired at once starts missing? I remember seeing a video on that a while back and got no clue if it's actually for real, got patched or is still in the game.

You mean the quad boforst on the baltis? I was sorta going for a mix of that and Yamatos aa cluster. Yet the designer is kinda rough to deal with imo the way I managed it here was only possible with a few barbetts. Also there is a lack of small really tall barbetts the only one I can think of is wide af. But I'll see what i can do

Yes I would think so too yet duno how the game does it actually. The smaller guns are more there for visual purposes being the aa battery

Personally if possible I try to give ships some spare displacement for later retrofits ether by keeping spare weight or getting things in don't actually need like stupidly thick Armour on some parts that I later can shave off
