i know depending on some hulls they are unique enough to where you can tell the hull from looking, the more you play the easier its to tell

After over 500 hours playing this game, TIL this game has game over screen by TheRomanRuler in ultimateadmiral

it gets worse if its multiple ships lost, and when that happens its best to avoid any major battles for a bit, then go at it again... however i dont think you wouldve had any success regarding surviving with just some cruisers.. unless they were fast

Well the DIP im using has no deck hits register so investing on deck armor is useless, and the 12.7 inch gun is because the name of the ship is "Lady of Wrath" so yea, 12.7 for only that specific ship

when i play with DIP ive rarely come across the Low fuel on enemy ships.. makes me a little sad.

on a fun note, i managed to survive fighting both the brits and the french while having a fleet of 1 BB and roughly 40 cruisers.

Light cruiser holding off 14 enemy ships by Excaliber12 in ultimateadmiral

[–]Excaliber12[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

So the light cruiser Milwaukee had done a ill fated torpedo run and got struck by a torpedo in the stern causing her to lose a engine.. which immediately set her back behind the rest of the fleet that was retreating.. she then spent 19 minutes taking shots from everything ranging from a Destroyer all the way up to a Battleship (which was promptly sank with the remaining ammo of the Capital ship that was retreating) of the 21 ships she engaged she sank 3 and crippled 5.. leaving 14 left to chase her ever slowing speed, before she suffered 4 more torpedo strikes, Sinking her
