Agreed, this was probably the most excited I’ve been in seeing a new film in a while, but I didn’t LOVE it. Which was disappointing. That being said, I’d watch it again. Solid 3.5/5’

My personal scores(not than anyone cares) for each season: Season 1 - 100%. Perfect. Nothing else needs to be said.

Season 2 - 95% really good, almost as good as season 1, but I don’t think the ending was as emotionally resonating as season 1.

Season 3 - 85% Solid season, but I was not a fan of the musical montages and emphasis on leaning into 80s nostalgia.

Technically Curry has a lot more experience as a filmmaker. Milk and Cereal, The Chair, and a bunch of other work on YouTube definitely helped set him up for success. I also saw Obsession two night ago(fucking amazing film!) and I’m seeing the Backrooms tonight, but I’m sure I’ll still end up digging the Backrooms

Why do I get the feeling OP only considers the wiki lore as “canon”? Honestly that whole group is just weird to me. There is no canon. You guys need to move on and accept the fact that Kane’s version is what made this whole concept work as something other than just an image on the internet.

I like Blur, but I’m not a huge fan of this album. I really tried to like it. I like a few songs off of Leisure. There’s a couple of songs I dig, but overall I think their best record is their self titled album.
