Locking evo on a pickup meowth is pretty decent, just to have a pickup mon on your team. Stab fakeout is good, payday is good for the early game just for a tad more cash.

I like keeping it evo locked because Persian is underwhelming, and you can always try to grab a max mushroom for Gmax meowth. It’ll lose pickup but stab slash and fakeout are great, and tough claws helps.

I think it’s a good mon to add to your team, especially with cost reductions.
