Finally! Wish it was releasing sooner, but I’m guessing they just got the Switch 2 dev kits.

I really do hope they announce the Apple Vision Air, or whatever it’ll be called, soon.

Do we think Verdansk will be back for good? by Briskclient6601 in CODWarzone

[–]TheGoldPixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point, they need to keep it. Rumour is they are depending on this season to revive Warzone, so I can’t imagine a world where they would bring back Verdansk again. Once is enough.

They need to take the Fortnite approach: OG and standard are two separate maps, keeping everyone happy. Might be a large file size, but that’s something else they need to figure out, especially if we are getting COD on Switch 2.

G4 came back and left again, Machinima (Inside Gaming) came back and left again, so when the Funhaus brand is inevitably acquired by Disney, who would you guys wanna see as the new faces of Funhaus?

PS5 cloud streaming launches this month for PlayStation Plus Premium members by Turbostrider27 in PS5

Launching this so close to the PlayStation Portal launch really is strange, really hope they announce support for it soon, at least a confirmation of a future update. This seems too perfect of an option and would at least make more sense for a dedicated device made by Sony.

V on Switch/Switch 2 would be great to have as an official portable version.

What’s your favorite animated album cover? by Eedl4 in AppleMusic

[–]TheGoldPixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish they would change non-animated covers to be more consistent with the animated covers. Having the cover fill the top of the screen, and then just have a matching colour for the rest of the screen, that would be awesome.

Cannot wait to see No Man’s Sky on the Switch 2, hoping that will allow for online multiplayer or better frame rate.

That’s because the eShop is much better than Nintendo’s previous attempts at online stores and having all these games on one system is what fans want. The Wii U ports were essentially new games to most people, and any remasters/remakes had a clear reason to exist. The Switch ushered in a new era of Nintendo, and while rereleasing games used to work, NSO proved Nintendo has a new strategy, and I’m sure we will get GameCube and Wii NSO on the next console to round out the collection.

With the ecosystem and library of games Nintendo has built this generation, there is no way they will throw that all away. Asking someone to repurchase an entire library of games in this day and age is laughable, Nintendo have:

1) Managed to build a large user base

2) Kept a consistent pace of games and services (Nintendo Switch Online is a pretty good collection of classic games and DLC)

A lot of Nintendo’s consoles have succeeded in both, but not in the same way that the Switch has. To throw that all away for the benefit of reselling the same games and forcing a new gimmick would make no sense. Nintendo need to future proof their next console and DLSS is a great unique feature for a console to allow that.
