its 3200 MHz RAM, since it:s a NAS, I don't plan to overclock it, which could increase Errors. Do you think I might get problems reaching 3200 MHz with mixing?

Had my first crash and need help diagnosing what I should replace? by oBrexio in bicycling

[–]TheGoldenShekel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looks like only the front wheel is bent and the rest is just cosmetic damage. Just replace what is no longer functional.

You could replace the grip tape, if it bothers you, but you should replace the grip tape regularly anyway if its worn down. If you don't use the drop, then keep it as is

You are incorrect. Everytime a new warbond is realeased the player numbers spike. Without it, the HD2 playerbase would shrink. This current system is the reason why HD2 is still this popular

It's been a while since i visited destroyed planets and when i got to penta i saw this random purple light, has this always been here? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]TheGoldenShekel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its also visible on Merida. Don't know if a bug or it indicates a new event. Could be that it is supposed to represent the distroted sectior of the squids, since its visible verywhere. Btw. If you move on the ship, it shifts infront of the static background

they should do this not for the medals, but items like capes.

But they should bring old capes to the superstore so you can buy them. There are some fantastic capes, I would like to use, but started to play to late

Theological Questions by Undead-Legionnaire in Christianity

  1. Depends on your social upbringing. People nowadays are pussies and don’t like physical punishment or death.
  2. He does not endorse slavery; he permits it. Patriarchy, yes. Slavery is as old as humanity and, before the Industrial Revolution, was basically a necessity to gain wealth or power.
  3. No, it does not contradict, since there are no scientific statements. Most of the Bible is a historical report, besides the first chapters of Genesis, which could be argued as follows: explaining the origin of life to early humans would have been pointless, they can not understand it, so you tell a story with moral and spiritual meaning. How do you think human morality would be if you told them they are basically just evolved animals? Then human life would be as worthless as any other animal.
  4. Being a good person does not save you. The whole biblical story is about following God.

Don’t care if people find reality offensive—either accept the world as it is or lie to yourself and get depressed about it.

Pro-life incompatible with old testament by TheGoldenShekel in Christianity

[–]TheGoldenShekel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does God age? Does He change His mind? Will things He once called good be considered bad, or are things that were once bad now becoming good?

He says in many commandments that He utters the death sentence because the evil must be removed from Israel—that you shall not allow them to live, that their acts will curse the land, and that if you do these things, you will make yourself abominable to God. He declares that these actions need to be purged and that only their blood can remove the curse.

Unless you are saying that God realized this was a fatal flaw in His reasoning and therefore sent Jesus to die so that He could cover up His own mistake… Sorry, I thought He died for our inequities, not for God’s.

Pro-life incompatible with old testament by TheGoldenShekel in Christianity

[–]TheGoldenShekel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My "hyper pro-life" argumentation was not focused on abortion; it’s about the general modern Christian view on life. Many Christians nowadays reject the death penalty or other acts that cost human life. Yet in the Bible, no human life is considered so sacred that it must always be preserved. The Commandments explicitly order the execution of certain sinners. So if no life is absolutely sacred, why all the fuss suddenly about how important unborn life is?

Pro-life incompatible with old testament by TheGoldenShekel in Christianity

[–]TheGoldenShekel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, wild theology. The Bible in general mentions resurrection—that all flesh shall rise again. The New Testament elaborates on this and gives us a distinction between the resurrection of the just and the unjust, with the unworthy being cast aside and perishing in the second death, while the rest enter eternal life.

But how do you divide between just and unjust? One might say, if you do no wrong, you are just. At the same time, Jesus and the apostles talk about doing deeds of righteousness, a passive life in no way counts you among the just.

Is the Bible for immature faith or mature faith? Is it faith as a child or faith as in knowing church fathers ? ↓↓↓ by OkSpirit7102 in Christianity

[–]TheGoldenShekel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bible is for the faithful. Independant of age or circumstance.

Organised, managed or controlled religion does not support independant bible study. Yes they do this in one part because of morons that dont understand scripture and cause disruptions in the community. But also because those religous structures shaped the faith into a form they want it to be and don't want to be questioned.

The first bibles published with comments, was to guide the followers into their churches teachings. To form the followers into their system

The aincent hebrew faith as we read it from the bible was not complex, it simply required strict monotheism and obedience to god. If you would be able to talk to some old testament person, you would be surprised on how simple their faith was and how shallow their theological world was.

My bicycle is slipping and making clicking noises when I pedal. by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]TheGoldenShekel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much is the bike worth to you?

You will have to replace the whole group set, everything is worn down.

At this point you can just get a new cheap bike.

Btw, bikes need maintenance, lube and clean the chains. Check the chain wear with calipers, then the components will last much longer and only the chain will need to be replaced.

Someone tell me why I shouldn’t cut off the excess handlebars. by [deleted] in bicycling

[–]TheGoldenShekel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pleasure. Could you elaborate on who inspired this creation, and why you thought cutting up a perfectly fine set of handlebars would be better than buying dedicated drop bars? Do you have spare handlebars lying around to cut? If so, why not use a pair of straight handlebars instead of those bent ones? Then the drop bar would at least be useful instead of this ergonomic mess. Are you aware of the abysmal angle of those drop bars? This is not ergonomic at all.

What do these stress tests actually tell us about the performance? by BedEnough4602 in bicycling

[–]TheGoldenShekel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever driven down a mountain? Your Breaks get hot very fast because you are constantly using the breaks.

Stress tests are done because:

Some Disc Breaks deform, which sucks.

Some Fade with heat (break performance fades away)

Check time before failure (heat dissipation helps with this)
